When Harry woke up the next morning in Haven's bed, still in the Hufflepuff girls' dormitories, he found himself to be alone in the four-poster bed with yellow curtains. He hadn't paid much attention to the room the night before but he realised that it was an exact copy of the Gryffindor dormitories, save for the red theme. Everything here was yellow - and sometimes gold-covered.

Harry shot up and looked around the room. Haven was nowhere to be seen - and neither was Hannah, luckily.

Realising he was still mostly naked, Harry fished his boxers from the floor where he threw it and the rest of his clothing before he bathed with Haven. He remembered her to be remarkably quiet and tired. Very unlike how she usually was - even after they did the deed.

"Haven?" Harry called through the room.

There was no answer.

Harry walked to the bathroom to see if she somehow fell asleep on the toilet or something ridiculous but found her sitting cross-legged on the damp rug on the bathroom floor. She didn't seem to have heard him earlier as she kept staring off into the distance, a deep frown on her face. She had taken Harry's shirt to dress herself but her legs were still bare.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Harry crouched down beside her and cupped her cheek in his palm.

Her eyes shot to his. They were glossy, as if she was about to cry.

"Fuck - are you OK?" Harry cursed as he sat down with her and pulled her towards him. He let her put her head on his shoulder as her body violently jolted. Harry could tell she was about to break down.

Her skin felt cold as he held her close to him, pulling her legs over his lap. When Harry looked at her face he saw that she wasn't crying yet but the tears were about to come soon. Harry had only seen her cry once and it scared him till this day. He could still hear her sobs and screams as she threw the glassware at the wall, almost hurting herself in the process.

"I'm sorry," The whisper of Haven's voice was barely audible. Her voice was hoarse and soft, as if she had been screaming the day before - which Harry supposed she had but forced the thought away.

"It's OK, everything is OK," Harry whispered as he pressed a kiss against the crown of her head.

"No, it's not," Haven whispered, her voice cracking at the end.

Harry was silent for a moment, giving her time to talk if she wanted to but she didn't say a word. Only her heavy breathing filled the room. She truly was on the verge of breaking down. Harry knew it wouldn't be a good idea to do that here, being so close to the common room and since Hannah could just come in any moment.

"Listen," Harry said softly, "how about we go to the Astronomy Tower to sit there and talk?"

Haven didn't lift her head to look at him but nodded against his shoulder.

"Good," Harry said with a relieved sigh. "Let's get dressed then, shall we?"

Whatever Haven was worrying about seemed to have really shaken her up. Harry pulled her up, immediately taking her in his arms again as he helped her get dressed and brush her teeth. Haven was so zoned-out, there was little she could do by herself.

When they were both dressed and freshened up, they quietly exited the dormitories. Haven had her head on Harry's shoulder again, for the first time in three weeks wanting to stick as close to him as possible. The common room was still relatively empty, it was quite early in the morning and most of the students wanted to sleep as long as possible on school days.

The only person who was there to witness Harry and Haven in a protective embrace was a very tired Theo.

"Wow," Theo mumbled when his eyes settled on the two. "Wild night?" He rubbed his eyes as his bedhead emerged from behind the back of the couch.
