When Haven wakes up the next day, it took a while for her to realise that she wasn't at the Leaky Cauldron anymore. The sun was already shining brightly through the open curtain of Ginny's room but the two beds beside Haven were empty.

Hermione didn't come back from Ron's room after she and Ron left. Harry stayed with Haven and Ginny for a good while until he was sure it was safe for him to go to his bed to get some sleep. Harry didn't come back to the two girls so Haven assumed Ron and Hermione calmed their hormones down.

Haven had her hand tightly clamped around her wand but slowly put it down when she fully got it through her head that she was safe in The Burrow. The mentality of being on the run with her mother was still drilled into her so Haven had a hard time falling asleep without her wand ready to throw jinxes at possible intruders. Since it was so warm, Haven didn't bother pulling a blanket over her body when she slept the night before and that morning it still laid unmoved at the foot of the mattress.

Haven glanced at the clock that hung on Ginny's wall and noticed it was already ten o'clock in the morning. Everyone must be wide awake already. Haven couldn't remember the last time she slept this late but thought it had to do with the secure feeling she got in The Burrow.

Eager for some breakfast, Haven hopped out of the bed and put on some clothing. It was still hot outside so just some short and breezy clothing was more than enough. Haven quickly hurried downstairs, keeping her wand in her pocket, and entered the kitchen to find Percy and a man she didn't know.

He was sitting at the dinner table, talking with Percy whilst fondly watching him pour some kind of drink into two glasses. The man seemed the same age as Haven, probably a little older. He had his dark hair in a low bun, some strands framing his tan face. The man had a rather bulky structure; the short-sleeved shirt revealed big arm muscles but the smile on his face made him seem harmless.

He looked vaguely familiar to Haven.

"Ah, Haven," Percy greeted her over his shoulder as he grabbed another cup from the cupboard. "You're finally up,"

"I haven't slept in this long for a while," Haven said as she took a seat on the dinner table, gratefully accepting the glass Percy handed her.

"I'll assume you slept well then," Percy said before turning around, leaning against the counter as he sipped from his glass. "This is Alex, by the way, my boyfriend," Percy nodded at the man who kindly smiled.

"Alex Krum, nice to meet you," He said, holding out his hand.

"Haven Goldspear," Haven shook his hand. "Younger brother?"

Alex nodded. That was why he looked so familiar to Haven. He was Viktor Krum's younger brother, the one who he was supposed to save from the Black Lake in the second task. Haven never really knew why Hermione resurfaced with Viktor Krum instead of Alex but Haven picked up from some gossiping students that Alex' relationship with his brother wasn't that well.

"Alex was called to the Ministry yesterday by Professor McGonagall," Percy told Haven with an excited smile towards Alex. "Asked him to teach Defence Against the Dark Arts now that Snape's gone,"

"Really?" Haven asked. "That's great. Congratulations,"

"Thanks," Alex smiled. "You're going back for the eighth year too, then, I reckon?"

"Yes, definitely," Haven nodded as she finished her drink. She looked back at the living room, finding it empty. "Where's the others?"

"Outside, playing Quidditch," Percy told her. "It's a miracle they didn't wake you up with their shouting. It'd say it's going pretty tough,"
