Several days after the night effectively spent in the bathtub of the Hufflepuff girls' dormitories has passed. The morning of the final Quidditch match of the year had finally dawned upon them and the school had never been more ready.

As it was a match between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, the students from Ravenclaw and Slytherin had to pick a side and it turned out to be surprisingly divided. Even in the Eighth-years common room that morning was the spirit equally divided.

Of course, none of the Slytherins would ever dream of supporting Gryffindor so they all came with borrowed yellow scarfs and rosettes. Only Theo showed a bit of support for Gryffindor since he had painted one cheek with red paint and the other with yellow. He had somehow gotten his hands on a scarf that read 'POTTER' with big black letters.

Going down for breakfast, Harry was greeted with warm applause from the Gryffindor table which only made him grin. Now that the war was truly over, Harry enjoyed the attention he got by being the Gryffindor Quidditch captain.

Harry had woken up by himself that morning, Haven nowhere in sight. He expected her to turn up in the bathroom or maybe to come in later to kiss him good morning but even when he took more time than usual with shaving and brushing his teeth, he didn't catch her in the Gryffindor boys' common room.

Assuming she may have gone down for breakfast already, or maybe fled to the library for some more obsessive studying, Harry just got ready in his Quidditch uniform himself and walked down to the Great Hall for breakfast with Neville and Hannah who were dressed in each their respective house colours.

Over the course of the past week, Harry hadn't seen Haven as often as he'd like which was partially his own fault. Due to the upcoming Quidditch match, he planned more practices than ever so he could get his team in a well enough shape to beat Zacharias Smith's team. And Haven was studying, Harry assumed.

All throughout breakfast, Harry kept an eye on the doors to the Entrance Hall but Haven never arrived. He would've liked her to kiss him good luck and to support him in the Quidditch pitch but could understand if their house difference made that a tiny bit harder.

But still, a good luck's kiss sure never hurt anybody?

Once Harry had enough food in his stomach to last the Quidditch match, he stood up to head to the Quidditch pitch, following the rest of his team but Theo held him up.

"Do you like my scarf?" Theo asked with a grin. "It has a little lightning bolt next to your name because, well, that's quite literally what you are in the pitch,"

A sigh of relief fell off Harry's chest, afraid the lightning bolt may have had everything to do with his scar.

"I love the scarf," Harry nodded with a smile.

"Good because it took a whole lot of convincing to get Blaise to help me with the embroidery spells - his mum taught him a lot,"

Harry couldn't help but grin at the Slytherin's dedication to support him. Harry would've never thought he'd ever get as close to someone from that house as he did. It was quite sad that neither of them was willing to put aside their house difference earlier in their Hogwarts career, they could've been great friends all along. And same with Haven - Harry wished he had talked to her more before.

Suddenly, Theo's eyes drifted to something right behind Harry and an excited gleam made an appearance at the sight.

"So, where's your girlfriend, Potter?" Theo asked with a chuckle.

Harry suspiciously narrowed his eyes at him but couldn't help the tugging on the corners of his mouth. It was quite obvious that Haven was standing right behind him. Harry could swear the Great Hall had quieted down.
