As Professor Slughorn was explaining the material they were going to be learning that year on the Monday afternoon, Harry stared at Haven's right hand.

After Ron and Hermione disappeared to the Gryffindor boys' dormitories during the break and only returned before lunch, Harry figured it might not be such a great and comfortable idea to sit next to them. Anyone with a pair of eyes and a brain could figure out what the couple did and Harry was not going to take the chance of sitting next to a rather touchy couple. If he talked to them about it, Hermione would most likely deny everything and say she would never touch Ron or let Ron touch her during class.

He knew that was a big lie.

It is why Harry decided to sit next to Haven once again. She disappeared during the break after Defence Against the Dark Arts as well and he didn't see her throughout the entire free period they had. She only returned moments before lunch ended and their last class of the day started.

And now she hid her head in her folded arms on the desk she shared with Harry. He saw her right hand peeking from her left elbow and her hair that fell over it. It carried another wound, very similar to how the one this morning looked.

How did she get that? Did she hurt herself by accident?

Harry decided not to say anything about it. The wound wasn't as bad as the one she showed up with that morning anyway. This wound seemed to have been tried to heal so it only showed a dark red spot on the back of her hand.

Harry took out his wand and pointed it at the wound, whispering the only healing spell he knew to completely heal the wound. Haven lifted her head from her arms when she felt her skin grow over the wound until it was again just a slightly paler spot on her hand.

Haven looked up at Harry with a rather surprised expression. It was as if she couldn't believe someone would help her like that.

Harry just smiled at her before trying to turn his attention back to Professor Slughorn. He was well aware of the fact that Haven was now staring at him but he forced himself not to look her way, afraid he was going to end up flushing crimson-red. He should have realised a couple of days ago that Haven liked to look at him, he noticed it on several occasions now - and Harry liked to look at her. The reason for it seemed to be her obvious attractiveness that could even want Malfoy to date a non-Slytherin, but Harry also discovered that he was very fond of her casualness about serious topics - especially topics that would make people pity him.

Professor Slughorn was going on and on about the different potions they were going to be brewing this year - ones that they were required to know for the NEWTs at the end of the year. Harry vaguely picked up the names of a couple of potions he mentioned in the first class of their sixth year but no more than that. Potions was definitely a required NEWT to get into Auror training but Harry couldn't bring himself to care enough. Even if he didn't get the NEWT for it, he'd still get the chance to be trained by the Ministry and it was the first lesson anyway.

He'd pay attention the next class.

But the next class did definitely not go as planned in the terms of paying attention. And neither did the Double Potions class on Friday afternoon.

"Seriously, who thinks it's a good idea to make us follow classes the entire day without even one free period and then end it with Double Potions?" Haven indignantly whispered Harry's way.

The two of them waited for Professor Slughorn to finish his speech on recognising smells from different potions. A wave of scent came from the front of the class and distracted the students thoroughly. Maybe Professor Slughorn should have waited with bringing out the Amortentia. Haven already shared her worry about Ron and Hermione jumping each other the moment they recognised each other in the smell that came from the pearl-shiny liquid in the cauldron at the front of the class.
