'So my investment is actually taking the penalties seriously?' Y/N thought as he watched the one who'll become his right-hand man vigorously training in the hospital after he had been rescued from Y/Ns double dungeon 'Good for him'

It had been 5 days since his encounter with Arachne and all had been silent from the Eldonian gods, he honestly was expecting them to attack him the second they were told of what happened... although, Archne could be refusing to talk due to PTSD is it might take some time

"Milord, there are more gods here, they say they want to 'Talk' with you," Leinas said in his mind "Oooh, this will be fun!" Y/N said to himself before teleporting to Leinas location. When he got there the first thing he noticed was that they were in the tone room of the Deep Elf Capital, 'which means the invasion was a complete susses', the next thing he saw was the Balrog stood on the left of the throne

He sat on the throne which was made of various rare gems before motioning for Leinas to let the visiting gods in. The gods that entered literally radiated different forms of light, making Y/N dislike them almost instantly, 'Who walks into the lair of a being of Darkness radiating light? Are you trying to piss said god off?' Y/N thought in the depths of his mind

Y/N could already see himself giving the shadows of these gods to the Shadow Monarch just to spite them and taint their oh so pure light. He managed to keep all these thoughts off his face however and greeted the visiting gods with a straight face

"Why have you called for me, Light Gods?" he said light gods with a slight bit of hate but managed to remain calm, "Before we answer that, aren't you supposed to have a wife?" the goddess radiating hope asked

"My wife is currently creating new Grimm, as you can see, this one next to me is one of her newer creations, but I see not how that is important, now answer my question" Y/N answered with a dismissive wave of his hand

"Right, we came to ask why you have ordered your subjects to wage war on the other kingdoms, as well as to ask what you did to Esbus and Dudarr, they both had contact with your people before disappearing, and, as much as it pains us to look after that filth, what you did to Arachne?"

Y/N looked at them with a confused gaze before lightning up as though remembering something funny "Ohh, you mean the gods of darkness and Forests? Yea, they're dead, well at least half-dead? I don't know how to describe Esbus's condition but Dudarr is long gone" He answered with a cheery smile before becoming serious

"As for why I am attacking them, it is merely me expanding my influence around this world so that I may stop the mortals from killing themselves through either war or arrogance, and for Arachne? I just showed her her place on the food chain"

The visiting gods looked at him in disgust as the 'God of Light' spoke "As expected of a being of darkness, you care only for your own power, my fellow gods of light, I think its time we remove this vermin from the face of the planet" The 2 goddesses nodded in agreement before releasing their divine forms, which was different forms of light

Their light was so bright even they themselves couldn't see as the entire throne room went supernova, when it was done the throne was empty and the Balrog was nothing more than air, Leinas had teleported out with Aryan the second she saw Y/N motion her to leave

"Turns out he wasn't that powerful after all" Gridona said with a cheery voice, "True, shows us how weak Arachne really is, isn't that right Forlotl?" Drogtia asked the only male god there, who responded with a confident nod of the head"Now all we have to do is kill his wife and then we'll be done with this mission"

They turned to leave through the door only to see it slam shut with shadows clinging to it, they looked at the doors in confusion until they heard a terrifying voice that made the light around the gods dim and the room rumble

"I DONT MIND YOU TRYING TO KILL ME, BUT MY WIFE? HAHAHA, YOU'LL SUFFER IN ETERNAL TORMENT FOR YOUR KIND... SERVING THE SHADOWS!"

The entire room darkened until nothing could be seen except the gods and the throne. Slowly, shadows started to slither up the throne and make the shape of a human body leaning back on the fine seat

"NOW, YOU WILL WAIT UNTIL HE CALLS FOR YOU, GOODBYE, FALSE LIGHTS!"

The body eyes shot open to reveal pure red light emanating from the eye sockets as tentacles of shadow broke off from its back, it walked towards the gods and as it did the shadows swallowed the throne behind it

The gods fear skyrocketed when they saw the sharp points at the end of the tentacles but as the goddesses remained still in  utter fear of the blood lust radiating off the god, no, MONSTER in front of them Forlotl managed to squeak out a question

"what do you mean, false lights" but the voice didn't answer as the shadows got closer and closer, its red eyes boring into the souls of the 'false lights', out of fear Forlotl shot a spear of light at the speed of light at the shadows

As the light travelled it dimmed until it was nothing but another shadow, when it hit the creature it held up its hand and caught the offending weapon and looked down at it before looking at the terrified god of light

"DIE"

No sound was heard as the gods were ruthlessly cut down by the shadow monster
