After a few more hours chatting to their daughters, Y/N and Salem decided they would return to Nazarick and take a break from adventuring or rather, building Nararicks forces to greater heights. After finding a secluded area for they to teleport from, Salem cast [GATE] to the entrance of the tomb so they could give Nagini a tour of her new home
TIMESKIP
After a 3 hour tour, they dropped Nagini off in the dark realm of the 7th floor and told her to find a place where she would like to start a nest for the army of Basilisks she would be summoning, before heading to the throne room after receiving a message from Ainz saying he had very important news and would like to discuss it with them
When they got there they saw all the guardians except Shalltear in attendance busy discussing something about betrayal and how to deal with it, "What's up Ainz?" Y/N said to the 2-meter tall skeleton, "Oh, Y/N and Salem, thank you for coming on such small notice, we believe that Shalltear may have betrayed us" Ainz responded, putting Y/N and Salem in slight shock
"But why would she betray us and do you have any proof?" Salem asked, "My Lady, the reason we believe such is that Shalltears name has turned red on the command tab" Albedo responded for Ainz. Usually when an NPCs name goes red on the command tab it would mean they have gone rogue, but Salem didn't believe this to be the case
"Ainz, have you heard about the six 'Gods' the Slane Theoracracy worship," she asked, eliciting a nod from the skeleton "And did you hear one of the 'Gods' is Shurshana?" continuing after getting another nod from Ainz "And weren't they from the guild that had the world item 'Downfall of Castle and Country' that could take control of even undead if they didn't have a world item" Salem finished asking, receiving a sound of understanding from Ainz
It seems even Demiurge understood what she was getting at and couldn't help but smile a massive grin "Truly, the intelligence of the Supreme beings are unmatched" he said before seeing that the other guardians didn't understand what Lady Salem was getting at "What Lady Salem is saying is that the Slane Theocracy has a world item that can mind control anyone who doesn't have the right countermeasures, and had most likely run into Shalltear while she was in berserker mode (Sorry, can't remember the name) and so they took control of her but she must of been able to harm one of them, so they had to leave her there while retreating back to the Theocracy" he said before looking at Salem "Did I get that right Lady Salem" he asked
"On the nail Demiurge, on the nail" She responded shocked that he got that much information from the little she said "But anyway, we will discuss how to handle this later, for now, Aniz Y/N and I are going to go catch up on other recent events, you may all stay and listen, but if you have more pressing matters please go attend to them" She finished
SSo Ainz explained first the things he had been doing as an adventurer and how he had met a group called 'the swords of darkness' and how he escorted an alchemist named Nefferia to Carne as a quest, how the boy figured out that Momon was Ainz by Nabral accidentally mentioning Albedo, to him taming the 'Wise King of the Forest' who was actually just a giant hampster (to which Y/N could only shake his head in disappointment), how when they returned to Re-Entel and the swords of darkness were killed, how he and 'Nabe' cleared the undead and killed the crazy man trying to achieve immortality through the negative energy, leaving both Salem and Y/N facepalming at the mand stupidity
"And that about sums it up, I am now Oriculcum rank and now have a rather good reputation," Ainz said receiving a round of applause from the guardians, "That's good Ainz, but guess what...I won our little...negotiation, both me, Salem and our new subordinate are Adimantite rank" Y/N said leaving Ainz whit his mouth open "However, I guess it was unfair, considering we started on gold rank due to our daughters being feared within the guild"
"Besides from that" Salem started "We accepted more than one quest at a time and sent some of our Grimm out to complete the ones out of the humans' line of sight. The first one we actually did was to go and clear a cave of Basilisks, I sent a level 50 Minitor in and we decided to wait outside, but the plan changed when it was killed, we decided to enter and at the bottom was a dungeon in which we found a level 300 Basilisk, yes I know, surprising, but that's not even the best part...she wanted to serve us" Salem laughed at the end there before continuing "so Y/N turned her into an LVL 400 Grimm Basilisk Goddess only to upgrade her again into an LVL 500 Grimm Basilisk Mother, so now we have a literal Goddess serving us as her gods that can summon up to LVL 300 Basilisks, oh, I forgot to mention that she has a human form which we equipped with Divine class items and is now part of our adventurer party" Salem finished explaining the 1st half of their story
"We got a lot of gold for completing the quests, after which we went and did the same thing as before, send Grimm to complete the other quests and do one ourselves, Demiurge, I believe you got the 'Albion Goats'" Y/N said with a smirk receiving a nod from Demiurge who had a twisted smile "We accepted one to kill an Earth Worm in the Dwarfen Kingdom, turns out the Dwarf town we went to no longer belive in the Dwarf Gods and wanted actuel proof that there were gods that they could see, so we revield ourselves to them before upgrading their town int a massive city...so now they worship us as their gods, along with you Ainz, our Daughters and Nagini, the Basilisk, so now we have a city full of devoted Dwarves who will now produce divine class items for us with the help of the Grimm Cyclopses we left there, they are also defended by 2 Grimm Bettyalions, and that about sums it up, besides the fact that our Grimm killed an LVL 50-60? I think, and apparently, that is the equivalent of a dragon lord, anyway, we got a s*** ton of gold from it" Y/N finished leaving he guardians in awe
"So...this is the start of our empire?" Ainz asked
"Oh yes Ainz, soon the world shall bow before us" Salem responded
"Well...time to start building an Amy of Upper-tier Grimm" Y/N said like an evil scientist
Needless to say, everyone (Besides Ainz) had an utterly twisted smile on their face
