Chapter 27 - Time to Tell

Amande Felix ( Professor Kate Smith) POV

I apperated to the centre of Diagon Ally. Teachers could apperate in and out of the school.  My fellow Death Eaters were playing games with the other witches and wizards.

I am a Death Eater. A different type of Death Eater.

I have been by the Dark Lords side for years.

He trusts me. He didn't mark me with the dark mark.

He knew I would be useful.

Everyone was told that me and my husband were dead.

That is why I am at Hogwarts under a false name.

At Hogwarts I am known as Kate Smith the defence against the dark arts teacher.

Within the Dark Lords community I am known as Amanda Felix.

The Dark Lords hidden follower.

My husband is Jacob Felix. We work together on most of our missions.

I'm doing this one alone.

None of the teachers at Hogwarts suspect me yet.

I have lots of fake I.D.

No one can tell. I take a potion every day so that only people who know me as me can see me properly.

If not I am saw as just a normal witch with a brown bob.

I actually have a head of blonde hair and dark blue eyes.

I am known for my good looks.

Killing curses were flying around the Ally.

People were screaming. Death Eaters were laughing.

I cast a disillusionment charm over myself.

Good. No one could see me.

I walked over to Bellatrix Lestrange and tapped her twice on the shoulder.

She looked like she was enjoying being free.

I whispered my name in to her ear to tell her that it was me.

I grabbed her arm and we apperated away.

POP! We landed in the Dark Lords sitting room.

I took off my charm.

"Master," I swooped to the floor in a deep bow.

"I have not saw you in a while Felix. We need to catch up. Bellatrix you may leave." His voice was chilling.

"So," he continued, "Has Dumbledore said anything yet?"

"Yes in fact master he has."

"What!" he spat at me.

"Well at the staff meeting he mentioned how all the children are going home for Christmas this year. I think some little... visits may be necessary."

The Dark Lord nodded, "Certainly Felix. It shall be arranged. My Death Eaters need to exercise their skills every so often. Anything else?"

"He also mentioned that I could upgrade my contract to cover next year too when I am ready. Should I master?" I asked.

"Hmmm," He replied, "It would be good to have another Death Eater inside the school permanently. One that hasn't been associated with me at all. One that isn't marked. He must trust you. Yes I think that may be appropriate."

I nodded at him again, "Master If you don't mind me asking..."

"What?"

"Have you got many more attacks planned? They are perfect days to meet up with you."

"Smart thinking Felix. You are not one of my inner circle for nothing. You have a brain that can think. Unlike some of them other useless good for nothings." He hissed, "How have my youngest two been?"

He was referring to Draco and Sarah. They weren't old enough to be full death eaters because they still had the trace on them.

They trace meant that all of their magic out of school was monitored.

"They are doing well Master. They are watching Potter like hawks. Draco was disappointed when he found out he couldn't come today as it is not a Saturday."

The Dark Lord laughed.

His laugh made my spine tingle.

"Anything else Felix?" He whispered.

"Actually Master there is."

"Well?"

"Can I tell her? About me being... You know what I mean?"

The Dark Lord considered my question for a moment.

He nodded, "Yes. I know what you mean. You may."

"Thank you master." I answered him.

"You may go Felix. I expect to see you again soon"

I bowed down low again, "Yes master you will. Thank you for your time."

I turned around and walked out the door.

I found Bellatrix outside the door glaring at me.

She was jealous that I got the special jobs.

I smirked at her and flicked my wand to apperate back to Hogwarts.

I landed in the entrance hall. It was empty.

All the students were in their common rooms eating tonight.

I walked up the stairs to my quarters.

I thought of the task before me.

I had to tell the truth to someone.

I had to tell Sarah Lestrange that she was my daughter.
