Alice POV

I took a deep breath.

This was going to be hard. I had to do it.

No Alice! Think positive. You can’t let Ginny down.

She needs her family and friends right now. More than ever.

Ginny's a tough nut. She can fight and she can fight hard.

No one can ever beat Ginny Weasly.

She’s a fighter.

All the Wesley’s, Grangers and Scott’s have been in to see her.

I am the only one left. Everyone came out in a state.

Especially Fred and George. They took it hard.

We’re all blaming ourselves.

Was it my fault because I went off with Ethan?

Should I have stayed and talked to her?

If I had just stayed awake the whole journey would she be fine?

If she passes away will I be hated and blamed by all the Weasly?

I hate myself so much right now.

I am an awful person for leaving her.

I feel half dead walking around right now.

It’s an awful feeling. My bones feel all old and creaky.

I feel famished but when I see food I feel sick.

What is happening to me?

I have so many unanswered questions.

They are mounting up inside me and taking over me.

My mind has gone in to overdrive with my imagination.

They are picturing what could happen. Die? Live? Die? Live?

She might pass away.

We would take her death badly. We would mourn for years.

We would tell our kids about Hogwarts and we would burst out crying when we told them about the train rides.

I think I’ll ask to be flooed back to the school after the holidays.

I think they’ll make a special exception.

We are living in fear right now. In fear of what might happen.

If she lives will she pass away at an early age?

Will she be disabled?

Will she ever be able to go back to Hogwarts?

If not will she still be able to get a job?
