Chapter 53 – Blue or Pink.

Molly Weasley POV

“Your…” Arthur looked like he was about to faint. He was swaying from side to side.

He needed me to confirm what I was saying. His eyes were pleading with me to say no.

I nodded my head, tears filling my eyes.

Arthur sunk to the ground, “What are we going to do?”

“Have a baby?”

“I knew that part! We are struggling to make ends meet the now without another mouth to feed, body to dress, child to raise!”

“Well we have to make it work Arth.”

“I know. How will we tell the kids?”

“They should be fine. It’s just Ginny I’m worried about.”

“She’s stronger than she looks, our Gin is.”

“Oh Arthur!”

“Let’s go inside Moll, we have to see if a healer is free.”

“Why? What's wrong?”

“We need to get you checked out. Make sure.”

My husband grabbed my hand and pulled me back in to the building. He led me over to the entrance desk.

“Hello, Welcome to St Mungos. What could I do for you today?” The girl chirped from behind the desk.

“My wife needs to see a healer.”

“A healer? One will be waiting on you in ward three. Please head that way!” The girl pointed to the left and turned to the next in line.

“Arth, that’s Gins ward.” I whispered.

“I know. They will need to find out sooner or later though. Let’s just find out for sure now.”

Arthur pushed open the door to the ward full of read heads. The rest of the family had turned up.

“Mum!” The boys shouted waving at me. I never got to reply though as a short female healer came bustling over to me. “Hello! You must be Mrs Weasley. Please head to that bed over there.”

I rushed over to the bed she was pointing at and closed the curtains after my husband came over. Horror had passed over my children’s faces. They were worried. I could see it in their eyes. Only a mother could see that.

“What can I do for you today?” The healer brought me back to reality.

“Oh I think…”

“My wife thinks she’s expecting.” I sent my husband a sympathetic smile.

“Oh. Have you been gaining any weight?”

“I think I’ve lost some with rushing about these last few weeks.”

“I’m going to talk to the kid’s molly dear.” I nodded at my husband and he headed out the door.

“How do you think that then?”
