Chapter 34 - She Will Pay

Bellatrix POV

I'm a free woman! Well a wanted free woman!

I am glad I don't have that stupid child to bring up.

I had to pretend I liked her.

Pretend I loved her when all along I hated her.

I hate her guts.

Her stupid parents. They are really close to the dark lord.

I should be there at Hogwarts!

Not stupid Amanda Felix!

She should be dead. All of the Felix's should be dead.

They don't deserve to live in my books.

Sadly, in the Dark Lords they do.

I have a little plan up my sleeve. I want that girl to pay me back.

For all the trouble I went to with her.

For all the stuff I wasted on her. She should have to pay... with pain.

I sighed. I was hiding in a cave at the beach.

My Dark Mark hasn't burned in ages.

That's weird.

I sat on the cold hard floor.

My breathing echoed around the small dark, damp cave.

I strained my ears.

No one was outside. That was good.

For a while I had forgotten that the girl wasn't mine.

I had loved her more than anything. It was real. I had kidded myself.

I shouldn't have let myself love her. I knew one day she would have to find out.

I gave in and told her. I abandoned her.

She didn't deserve to be mine. No one did.

My husband was dead. Dead. Dead as a doorknob.

Burned. We burn all the bodies of our fellow death eaters when they die.

We can't let all of the ministry find the bodies.

Who knows what they would do with them.

I wonder how Sarah is coping.

Is she sad?

Happy?

Depressed?

Angry?

I pointed my wand at a seagull flying past.

"AVANDA KEDAVERA!"

A long streak of powerful green light flew out of my wand.

The white seagull fell in to the water, dead.

It fell with a splash.

It cheered me to kill again.

I hadn't killed in ages. I had to exercise my strength every so often.

I couldn't let them get weak.

The Dark Lord needs me!

He really does!

Without me he would...

I don't want to think of it.

The stupid ministry put me in Askaban. Little that did to punish me.

I used that time to think up plans for when I got out.

The dementors hardly affected me. Well they did but I pushed them out of my mind.

I am stronger than most think.

One day I will be by the Dark Lords side. I will be the one on special missions.

I shall be in power, in charge.

I shall have my own troop of Death Eaters. They shall answer to me.

I know the Dark Lord thinks I'm special.

He really does!

I won't let anyone tell me any different..

No one can put me down. I am Bellatrix Lestrange.

A single, powerful lady.

I shall maby get another husband one day.

An even more powerful one.

 I will get lucky.

I will be the one to watch.

I will be even more of a mass murderer.

I shall be the it girl.

Just you watch me.
