"Oh, come on Logan! It's a beautiful afternoon!" Patton exclaimed looking out the window

"Patton, it's snowing outside," Logan replied, not looking up from his computer

"Exactly! It's snowing, and the christmas lights are shinning on the streets," Patton looked at his co-worker, his eyes full of exitement, "Don't you love it?"

"Well, I personally prefer the landscape on autum, where the street is filled by the fallen leaves, and the decolouration of the leaves creates a soft yellow and brown aesthetic that I love-" Logan started, but he was interrupted by Patton

"Still, you have to admit the snow is pretty!"

"If you say so," Logan mumbled.

Patton sighed and continued to work on his computer.

The ofice was silent, excluding the click clack that the computers made when you wrote on them. Patton looked outside through the window, letting his mind free, when a sudden noise made him wake up from his daydream

"Ok everyone!" Thomas exclaimed, "Today we finish early, you can all go!"

Everyone the room turned to look at their boss, with different levels of confusion and exitement present in their faces.

"I beg your pardon?" Logan finally asked.

"Yeah! It's friday and practically Christmas, so I thought 'Why don't we just finish early today?' Therefore, you are all free to go!"

"Hurray!" Patton jumped off his chair, "Thank you Mr. Sanders!"

"No problem Patton," The other answered, picking up his red coat and gloves, "Merry Christmas!"

"Merry Christmas!"Patton waved back.

All the people in the workspace started to pack their things up and chat about their plans for the afternoon, and what they where going to do on Christmas. Patton noticed that Logan, on the other hand, hadn't moved from his chair

"So, what do you have planed on doing now?" Patton asked.

"I'm going to stay here, working," Logan replied.

"Come on Logan, you can't do that, it's practically Christmas! Where is your holiday spirit?"

"I don't have holiday spirit Patton. And yes, I'm going to stay here and do my job, instead of losing my focus for this dumb festivity."

"Ok, that's it! You've crossed the line Logan Berry!" Patton exclaimed. Logan looked up from his computer, extremely confused.

"What line? I didn't move from my chair..." He said.

"That's- that's not what I meant. It's an expresion," Patton clarified.

"Ah, ok. What do you mean then?"

"I mean, that Christmas is my favourite season, and I'm going to make you enjoy it no matter what! Come on, get you coat, we are going shoppin!" Patton grabbed Logan by the arm and pulled him off the chair.

"I gues I don't have a saying in the matter, don't I?"

"Nope!"

"Can I at least save my work? I don't want to re-do it all on monday,"

"Oh, sure."

Patton guided Logan through the snowy streets and leaded him to a big shopping centre. In it, there loads of stores, all of them selling Christmas related stuff, like gifts or decorations or clothes, or food, and, in general, anything that you could imagine.
