Remus has been acting weird (as in weird for him) he's being quiet, not really being intrusive and Janus starts seeing that he has red marks and bruises on him, so he confronts him and Remus completely blows him off and kicks Janus out of the room. So he keeps trying and then one day Remus finally tells him that *insert any side you want here* has been hurting him, and basically Janus beats the sh1t out of said side and then Janus and Remus cuddle and Remus recovers from all the abuse

TW: abuse, apparently metaphor for neurodivergency according to Eden, blood, violence, implied murder, crying, angst

"FEAR NOT" A loud voice anounced, making Virgil jump from the couch. The sides turned to see Doodles standing in the hallway, arms spread and wings wide

"I'm never going to get used to you bargaging in," Janus sighed, rubbing his nose

"You have a very loud voice," Roman complained

"Thanks!" Doodles smiled, "Was helful in theatre"

"You did theatre?"

"yeah. in my school, all years from grades 1 to 4 we had to do a mandatory show every year, and had mandatory drama class. It was in french. Anyways, for the winter plays i always did narrator as I can't dance. And then in years 5 and 6 i joined the theatre club. I quit later as it messed up the schedule tho. Anyways, i'm proud of my voice sometimes when i have to talk loud, I always get high marks on speaking!"

"It's remarcable, considering how you talk at incredible fast speed most of the time and mumble so much it's almost imposible to understand," logan said

"Would we worse if i spoke my native language," Doodles shrugged, "ENOUGH CHITCHAT! I got requested this oneshot where i torture Remus in the bad sense two months ago and i ifnally did it so buckle up! Janus, you're the lead."

"Lovely."

Doodles snapped its fingers and all 6 sides disssapeared

...

Janus held his breath as he heard footsteps go down the stairs. He took his eyes off the chess book he had been reading, but didn't look up towards the door, just glanced up enough to be able to confirm his suspicions on the maker of said noise. The footsteps resonated in his mind, reminding him of the burden that weighted his heart.

Finally, the footsteps reached the bottom of the stairs and paused, the owner not moving from their spot for a solid minute. Janus still pretended to be reading, not wanting to make it seem as if he had been spying every movement made by him. Which he was. He had been for more than a week now. Finally, the steps continued, passing through the living room and towards the kitchen. Janus finally looked up, getting his wine glass and finishing it in one sip before making his way towards the kitchen, hoping that having to refill the glass have him an excuse to talk to Remus.

Yes, Remus. When had it become that Janus couldn't speak to him unless he had an excuse to do so? Since when had his moments have to be calculated and planned because if not, the two would be parted away? He wasn't sure, but he became aware of this shift of behavior little over a week ago, even if Remus had been acting distant for longer than that.
