Fire.

Everything was on fire.

The buildings where on fire, people where on fire, Patton was on fire.

It hurt.

Patton felt as if he was dying, but he wasn't.

Patton couldn't be dying because he was already in hell.

Even tho he felt this terrible pain, even if his muscles cryed out to him to stop fighting, curl up and wait, Patton continued walking.

He couldn't run, his body wasn't strong enough for it. Patton crawled through stone, causing himself cuts that didn't bleed because the wond burned before any blood could escape.

Patton looked up, barely being able to see a thing, his eyes dry and red. He looked up to see if he was closer to the palace. He wasn't. The black structure was still far, far away, in the horizon. Even if Patton had been trying to get there for what seemed an enternity now, there was no way for him to reach it.

But he couldn't give up. This was the only way for him to save himself. He needed to move. He needed to-

"AHHHHHH!" Patton suddently screamed, jumping up in his bed and hitting himself with something, or better said, someone.

"Ouch! Shit. Uh- Patton, are you alright?" Someone said. Patton couldn't see anything at fist, just shadows and lights, which made him momentarely freak out. Then he remembered how he wasn't wearing his glasses, and picked them up. Onces he was wearing them, he looked a the side who was next to him.

"Logan? What- what are you doing in here...?" Patton asked. The logical side was standing next to him, and he was rubbing his forehead, which was a bit red. Patton looked around the room, to see if there was anyone else in there. Remus standed on a corner, fidgeting with his hands, looking both embarased and worried.

"Sorry for intruding your privacy Patton," Logan started, "But I was walking down the hallway and saw Remus coming out of your room, looking concerned. Apparently, in an attempt to prank you in your sleep, he had decided to give you a little nightmare. He's told me that the moment he touched he did, your breath accelerated, you started to sweat and move around, as if sufocated by your blanket. Obviously, he got worried, since he had barely influed his powers on you and you where already trapped inside a nightmare. He asked me for help, since he was worried that by shaking you, your nightmare would increase. I tried to wake you up myself, but you didn't respond, therefore I used my powers," Logan explained.

"O- Oh, uh, ok, um, thanks?" Patton replied, still finding it had to focus on reality, "Your powers..."

"Yes, my powers. If I recal, I haven't used them on you before, con, but the twins have experienced them before. I can... "shock", or create figurative waves of reality which weakens the influence of the more feeling or fantasy aligned sides."

"Ah, well, that makes sense, I guess..."

"Patton, do you wish to tell me what your nightmare was about?" Logan asked.

"W- what? Why?" Patton exclaimed.

"It's ok Patton, it wasn't real, the nightmare wasn't your fault, but part of Remus's powers lye on the fear that a person already has, his influence increases depending on the other person's own intrusive thoughts. I found it somewhat difficult to wake you up, therefore, the nightmare must'be been bad. If we follow the path of logic, we can conclude that you have some bad insecurities. You should tell me, since I'd like to help you."
