Chapter 27

Joker, Spade and Silver heart are now safely landed on Queen's balcony. Joker rushed in to her room if she was in here safe but she's no where to be seen.

"She's not here..." he shakily breathe, looking around Queen's room. He felt a strong grip on his shoulder. He glanced at Spade.

"Don't worry... we'll find her"

Joker nodded glanced at the door "let's all split up... we have to save evryone inside the palace including the royal family..." he glanced back at Spade and his Master with a worried look "This palace is like maze... it's even more harder when there's fire and falling debress in here... I'm worried that you'll be lost from all th-"

"Don't worry, Joker..." Silver heart cut off his apprentace's said "We'll be fine... "

"Master is right Joker...pretend is like Master's training but this one is way easier as a breeze" Spade smirked but until his master slapped the back of Spade's head.

"You guys..." he sigh, happy that these two with him around. He nodded and the three start splitting up; help the other's escape, fight from one of the intruders, and even find the royal family and saved them.

"Mama!.... Papa!... where are you!"

Queen is running through the wrecked hallway, lots of paintings got broken, banners and curtains were ripped or burn and shattered glasses and windows.

She cough a bit, breathe some of the smoke near her... that thick smokes are near... must be it's in the treasure room!... she thought as she ran through hallway until she stopped her tracks when she saw many dead knights, laying on the floor.

She shaken in fear of what she saw, she grip her sword tightly, trying to be brave "What? What just happening in here?!"

She slowly walked down the hall, avoid and trying to ignore of some of the knight - laying dead - she saw until she reach to the treasure, she gasp in horror, feeling her tears falling down her cheeks. She saw her parents, laying down the floor.

"Mama! Papa!"

She quickly run to them and checking if they're still alive and they are, pulse still beating but their breathing is really heavy and their eyes are still close.

"Mama... Papa... wake up please! Stay with me! Don't leave me alone, please!"

Silver heart ran to the west wing, near the treasure room. He saw some of dead bodies; the fallen knights in the hallway, he knew he was close to the enemy but he heard a faint sobbing near the treasure room. He ran and went inside and saw a girl holding her parents.

Silver heart recognise the clothes they were wearing he silently gasp. It was the royal family and that young girl is Queen

"Hey... you okay?" He gently said made the young jolted.

"Who are you?!" She said, grabbed her sword.

Silver Heart put his hands up to surrender, calmly "don't worry... I mean no harm... I came here to saved your family and you must be Queen"

Queen lowered her sword slowly "How did you know my name?"

"Joker told me about you... I'm his master, Kaitou Silverheart"

Queen gasp silently, she knew him because Joker told her about him, she shakily smiled if there's still hope that she had to rescue her parents. "Please you have to help... my parents... they were..." she glanced at her parents still laying on the floor.

Silver heart went to the royal couple, he check the queen but she's not breathing anymore, he checked it again but no sign of her life. He looked at Queen sadly "I don't think your mother make it..."

Queen shook her head, in denial "no it can't be!"

"I'm so sorry" he sadly said.

Queen breathe heavily mourn for her mother, she glanced at her father, worriedly "What about Papa?"

Silver heart quickly check the king, he still until he felt a movement. The king shakily open his eyes made Queen quickly went to her father, crying.

"Papa... you're okay... please stand up we have to get out of here!"

Her father, is happy to see her daughter without any harm but he felt his body feeling heavier, he knows he don't have much time. He shook his head to Queen "No... Queen, go... I don't take I could make it..."

"No no no... papa you'll make it..." he shakily glanced at Silverheart the back to him "Silver heart came here to help us... Please... don't..." she trailed off stated sobbing.

"Queen... I'm sorry... I'm sorry for evwrything... "the king glanced at the man "you two must go....save my Queen, please"

Silver heart sadly nodded and held Queen's shoulder, gently "Queen we must go..."

Queen ignored him, still focussing her father "Please papa... don't leave me alone..."

"You're not alone.... you have friends to be with... you... Please just promise me... be happy, Queen" he said, closing his eyes with his last breath.

Queen shakily, crying, mourning to her dying parents. She stand up and glanced at Silver heart, slowly nodded at him, that she's ready to leave the palace. The two ran out the treasure room, and to the hallway; finding a way to escape. She remember what her father said, that she's not alone...

I'm not alone.... I'm not alone.... and I'm promise that I'll be happy for you...

Joker running down from east part of the palace until he stop his tracks when he heard someone screaming for help. He ranned to the corner and saw a woman with her child sorrounded some of the intruders in the palace.

"Hey! Leave them alone!" He ran and throw some of his cards to distract them and quickly leap infront of the mother and child then he bring out his cards "Straight Flash!"

The beam of light made them blinded the intruders and when it's gone Joker and the two hostages were gone, leaving them angry and confused.

"Where are they!"

"Grr... just leave them... we have to go before this place going to explode any minute"

From the corner Joker and the two hostages hiding behind the suit of armer but Joker even more surprised that this whole palace is going to explode.

"Thank you so much!" The woman said as she held her child.

"No problem... you have to escape through there..." he point to the empty hallway "it's safer there... and you must ran as fast as you can" she nodded and ran to the hallway.

Joker ran to the opposite direction finding Queen or the royal family until he stop his tracks when he saw a familliar figure infront. A guy who is dressed like Joker but way more darker and his a carrying an umbrella. It's Shadow Joker.

Joker eyes wide in sight "Shadow... what are you doing here?.... don't tell me you caused all of this!"

Shadow scoffed at him "Tch... do you really think I caused of this? I have no choice to come here because that old man told me to... but..." he smirked with his sharp teeth, point at Joker with his umbrella "I'm glad I came here because you're here of all places! Let's end this now Joker!"
