Chapter 11

It was morning, the royal family were on thier table, eating breakfast. Queen still wearing the hairpin that Joker gave her, she's happily munching her smash potatoes and steak.

The couple notice her happily behavior, it feels weird for them but they really happy to see thiee daughter happy.

"Queen you look really happy today... something happen or... some good news?" Her mother inquired as she eat her potatoes

"Oh... my friend came to my party..."Queen replied

"Friend?... you never told me about it?" Her mother said as she look at her husband, giving her some answers

"Well... Queen wants to invite him... so I just make an invite for him..." He sigh the he start drinking his water

The queen notice the diamond hairpin that her daughter wore, she blink in surprise and confused "Wow... Queen... Is that hairpin new?" she point the hairpin

Queen touched the hairpin, basfully "Y-yes... J-jack gave this to me.." she said making her father choke some of the water, coughing.

The queen patted her husband's back, concern "what's wrong dear?... are you okay?"

"I'm fine..." then he stared at Queen "T-that scar boy.. give the hairpin to you...?"

The queen arched her brows in confused "huh?... scar boy...?"

Queen sigh in annoyed "papa... he has a name, you know..."

The queen raises her hand to make the two attention "Am I the only one didn't know this... boy?.... " then she gazed at her husband in confused "and... scar boy?... what?"

"Well.. he has a huge scar accross his eye... he said is a bicycle accident" the king explained

The queen look at her husband in a irratated look "dear... don't judge that boy.. yes, he has a scar on his face, but dosen't mean his a bad person, you just met him... besides you just said that he got his scar on a bicycle accident.."

He sigh then nodded "well.. you're right.."

She glanced at her daughter at a curios look "So who's this boy you were talking to?"

"Uhmm... he's just a friend,mama.... a pen pal of mine... this hairpin is made by him" Queen shyly explained, blushing.

"Aww.. that's sweet of him.. since when did you discovered these boy"

Queen start to pannic; she first met Joker was last almost 2 weeks when he stole the Lighting Emerald. C'mon Queen... think of something... "Uhmm... well... I kinda of a... found him on social media... and... I uhmm... well we chat together... then we start writing letters... since he travel every country so... much" She stammered... really...? Social media?!...

The king arch his brow in confused and suspicious "Queen... I never seen you or... any mailing letters to you and from you... why's that?"

"Uhmm... my maid... send the letters for me... in secret..."

The king nodded, feeling insecure. The queen was beyound happy for her daughter "so... what's his name again... Jack right?... is kind of a.... mischivious name, you know... is he a mischief boy?"

Queen nodded "yes, mama... he's always make people annoyed... including me; yesterday he took my crown off my head then he wear it, start to act like me" she chuckled as she recall that memory. Queen got annoyed and embarras, she chased him, trying to get her crown back because he's mocking her.

"Hehe... just like your father..."

"Hey... did I ever mock you love...?" The king protest

"Of course you do... since when were teen years... " She pouted then she glanced at Queen "I never knew that friend of yours is kind of a joker"

Queen choked "uhmm... what?"

"You know... a joker, he's a funny type of guy is he"

Queen sweating nervously "oh... yeah.. yes he is... heheh.." she almost got me there

Her mother claped her hands "ooohhh... what about we invite him for dinner" making the two stunned.

The king stammering in protest "dear... I don't think that-" but he cut off by his wife

"Oh nonsence... I just want to know this Jack... beside I'm the only one here that I didn't met him, I want to know and talk to him... " she glared at her husand, giving him a death wish "including you, Love"

The king sigh heavily "of course dear"

Queen protest "I-i don't think that's a good idea, mama... he's kinda busy... travelling the world.. and stuff"

"Oh c'mon... atleast convince him"

Is almost afternoon in the sky joker, Hachi is start chopping some vegetables while Joker writing his advance notice.

"So what treasure are we gonna steal this time?" Hachi ask

"Is the Scroll of Medusa, its in the national history meseum in Greece" he explained until his phone start to ring. He grabbed his phone and look at the unfamilliar I.D. number.

"Who is it from, Mr. Joker?" Hachi ask as he washing his hands

"Don't know" he shrugged and answer the call "hello...?" The he heard a familliar voice through his phone.

"Hey... Joker" Queen called

Joker jolted "oh... Queen, you called?!... uh... what a surprised huh?"

"Y-yeah... it did, I found your phone number inside the box from the hairpin you gave me.. you know, my birthday yesterday "

Joker start blush "oh... eheheh... so do you like the hairpin I made you?"

"Mhmmm... I like it... I already wear it.."

"I'm glad you like it..." he said shyly "this is why called me?"

"Well maybe... but there is something I like to ask you..."

"What is it?"

"My parents wants to meet you and they decided to see you at dinner.."

Joker paused, his mind nearly shutdown when he replayed Queen's words. Her parents want to meet him! Joker hesitate. "Uhm... I don't know, Queen... Uhm... " c'mon.. find something an excused... he thought then he glance his advance notice "uhmm... well I have a hiest, right now at 9 tonight at Greece Queen"

"The dinner will be tomorrow night Joker..." she answered

Great....

"Joker I know you're scared for meeting my parents... It's kinda my mother's idea that she wants to meet you since she's the only one didn't met you yet... but don't worry I'll be by your side, with you"

Hearing her, made Joker's cheek turn to color pink. "I'll be by your side, with you"... those sentence still ringing in his head. His mind still blank.

Queen calling him if he agrees, but no answer. She call his name many times, then she shouted. "JOKER!!"

Joker yelp, tossing phone in to the air, waving his hands trying to catch it. He succesfully caught his phone then he put on his ear, listening to Queen.

"Y-yes... Queen?"

"I'm saying... you'll come to meet my parents...?"

Joker hummed in agreement "sure I'll come... but, is it okay from your parents that I brought Hachi with me...?"

"Sure... I'll ask my parents about it... and... see you tomorrow night, and bye Joker"

"Yeah... bye Queen" Joker smiled.as he ended the call. He look at Hachi in a happy and nervous smile. "H-hey... Hachi, find something suitable to wear tomorrow"

Hachi look at Joker in confused as he stir the ladle of his almost cook curry "And why's that?"

"We're going to the palace of Emerald tomorrow night"
