The Princess and the Kaitou

Chapter 13

After they done eating dinner, the start to thier conversation. Queen is having great time and so is Joker, she's glad that he came here and be with him;even thought her parents is with her.

Queen still has a chance to know him better alone, and be with him in Paris was a great option for only 3 days.

After thier conversation and it's already late, Joker and Hachi decide to go back home.

As the two went out the door entrance, they stop when someone called them.

"Hey!... wait!" Queen ran to them, waving her hand.

Joker and Hachi stop thier tracks and look at the princess. "What's wrong princess" Hachi said.

"Uhmm... can I talk to you,Jack... alone" Queen asked nervously.

Joker blinked twice "Uh.. sure" he glanced at Hachi "can you wait for me at the road joker" Hachi nodded and leave the two behind, standing still.

"So... why you want to go with me to Paris?" Joker ask, rubbing his arm.

Queen gazed him away nervously"Well.. I want to watch and learn new places, you know... and this is my chance " the she's start to blush ".... and also I want to spent time with you.."

"Oh..." Joker scratches his head, nothing to say, fwlt flustered. Until he felt something soft spot lingering on his cheek. Queen kiss Joker's cheek.

She kissed him

On his cheek.

Joker flushed red don't know what to say as Queen step back in a bashfull face. He felt numb. This is Joker's second time that a girl kiss him on his cheek, but is different. The first girl was an apparation; her kiss was sweet but airy.

Unlike the princess her kiss is warm and soft. Queen is speachless and so as Joker, the two don't know what comes next.

"WHY AM I DOING?!" Queen mentaly screamed.... should I say something?... she thought as she glanced at Joker, looking down staring at his feet not seeing his face... oh no I broke him, what have I done!...

Joker still looking down staring at his feet, his face was fuming red, sweating bullets. He don't Queen to see his face... should I say something?... he thought until he jurked up when Queen stutterdly burst.

"Uhmm... I'm sorry I broke you Joker... I um..." Queen stutter don't know what to say next.

Joker furiously waving his arms, blushing "No no no... it's okay... that's um..." he scratches his head don't know what to say.

The two were on complete in uncomfortable silence standing still, don't know what to do.

"Uhmm... I think I better go now, Hachi is waiting for me... and you should ready to pack your things for tomorrow right" Joker said, trying to break this uncomfortable akward moment.

"Oh.. yeah sure... so goodnight.... Jack" Queen smiled and went back inside the palace.

In the sky joker, Hachi notice how red Joker's face is; it's like ripe tomato. Before they went home, Joker stay quiet the whole time when he's driving his road joker to his airship. Hachi tell him what's wrong but no answer.

Joker sitting his couch starring fazed out, thinking about the kiss that Queen give him... c'mon Joker! Put yourself together... it's not a lips-to-lips kiss... is just a cheek friendly kiss, okay!!... he thoughtly suggest himself as he shaking and patted his head.

Hachi sweatdrop in confused and worried about Joker. "Sir... for the many times I said... are you alright?.. is something happen between you and the princess while I was ar road joker?"

"Uh.. no Hachi... nothing's wrong... just a perfectly normal conversation with Queen..." Joker stutterdly flushed.

"O-okay... since when are we going to clean the sky joker sir and also the geust room since the princess going to stay with us for a couple of days.." Hachi suggested.

"Just first thing in the morning... I'm gonna pick her up tomorrow afternoon"

It's now 10 o'clock in the morning in the palace of emerald, Queen is already pack her things with her maid.

"So... when he will pick you up?"the maid ask

"This afternoon" Queen said in glee as she tied her hair in pigtails.

Her maid arched her brow "This afternoon? Then why why are you so prepared for this?...." then she smiled teasingly "eager to see him, hmmm"

Queen blush slightly in protest "wah... no, I'm just exited that I can get out of the palace and see big places for the first time"

The maid nodded in agree "yeah... so it is... for the first time in forever, huh?"

Queen nodded in agree as she put the hairpin that Joker gave to her birthday.

"You know, your highness.... I already know that boy of yours is Kaitou Joker" her maid unexpectedly ask make Queen eyes widened in shock.

"Wai... No..J-jack is not-" the maid cut off Queen sentence.

"Princess I alredy know since you start writing alot of letters for him" she smiled "and you must becareful next time to hide yours or his letters"

Quenn look down in shamed "are you gonna tell my parents?" She mumbled sadly.

"No" made Queen gazed up on her maid in surprised.

"Why?"

"Well... I just want to see my princess happy and this is the first time I see you so.... inlove... you rejected all the boys or princes that they've try to woo you... and you've open up to people that's really great to us in the palace... "she said then she smiled in a appreciation "and I say... I should thank that thief someday"

".... thank you"

Her maid giggled in response "and... you look great princess, I bet his face will be red"

"Hehe... do you think I look great?"

Her maid smiled "Of course princess... and even you wear the hairpin he gave you, it suits you" she point the diamond hairpin on Queen's hair.

"Thanks..."

"Now c'mon... you better go to the dining room to eat your lunch" tge maid suggested.

Queen nodded "of course"
