NAIINGAYANG umakyat si Valerie sa taas ng kwarto nila dahil sa mga ingay na nanggagaling roon.

"Pierre, Sophie! Ano bang nangyayari rito at puro sigawan ninyo ang naririnig ko sa baba?" Naiinis na tanong ni Valerie sa dalawa niyang anak habang nakapameywang pa. "...and what's with the mess in here?" She scolded the two.

Feathers were everywhere in the room habang mukhang nagsusuntukan naman ang dalawa.

"M-mom! It was Sophie! I scolded her because she's going out with a guy later---" Pierre said

"No mom! That was a lie! It was kuya Pierre who started this all along, he's lying!" Sophie said

"Oh my God! Pierre and Sophie stop it! Pinasasakit niyo ang ulo ko jusko! Pierre tell me what happened while you Sophie Brendan, stay quiet!" Valerie said

"Mom, your little princess in here, I just caught her talking someone in the phone. She was laughing, smiling like an idiot and guess what, they're going out daw, so I just confronted your daughter....jesus, Sophie you're just thirteen tapos you're going out on a date na?!" Pierre said and faced her sister.

Her brow arched at Sophie. "Sophie?! What did I tell you about guys?!" She asked her daughter.

"To not let them near close to my heart, do not get fooled by their sugar coated words, do not entertain them in a different way, do not accept a suitors cause I'm still young, and do not have a boyfriend yet" Sophie answered.

"And what is this all about now coming from your kuya?" She asked.

"Yes, it is a date---but it's a friendly date though, kuya is just so very exaggerated and overreacting kanina, that's why he shut the call off!" Sophie said and glared at her older brother.

"Exaggerated and overreacting?! Eh bakit may pangiti-ngiti ka pa kanina while biting your lips. Why? Kinikilig ka? Who's that?! And daddy will give him an uppercut!" Pierre said.

Singhal pa niya sa mga anak niya.

"Sorry mom!" Magkapanabay na anito ng dalawa.
