Chapter 65- peaceful.

Riley's POV;

Every day felt like the same over the past couple weeks, all most as if nothing new happened. Every day we'd have a troupe rehersals and either before or after James and Beth would rehearse there duet. James still picked me up every day we walked and then walked me home. Our relationship is going wonderful.

"Remember A Troupe, duet and Solo auditions are tomorrow." miss Kate calls out as class is almost ending.

"We doing our duet still?" I ask James.

"Yeah princess, do you want to rehearse it now?" he asks me.

"Don't you have duet practice with Beth?" I ask him.

He looks at his phone. "Arg yes, I'm so sorry." he tells me.

The feeling was almost usual by now him and Beth had to rehearse a lot and while I understood I didn't feel right about it.

"It's fine." I reply trying to sound a little bit happier.

"Why don't you come over after I finish and you can stay at mine the night?" James asks me.

"Sure what time do you want me to come over?" I ask him with a meaningful smile.

"7.30? Sound good my girl?" he asks me.

"sounds wonderful." I reply giving him a kiss on the lips.

"Good will see you soon princess." he says giving me a hug.

He leaves and I make my way down to Emily who's in Culutre shock with Hunter.

"Heu sorry to interrupt." I say standing up.

"It's cool, we were just mucking around. You good?" Em asks me.

"What time are you going home?" I ask Em.

"Not sure, whys that?" Em says.

"I keep calling the home phone but no one is picking up, I need to get some things as I am staying at James's tonight." i tell Em.

"Isn't he rehearsing with Beth?" Em asks me.

"Yeah only till 7.30 though." I reply with a slight smile.

"Well hunter and I are going to go watch movies and get pizza at our's so, I can just drop you at home then at James's?" Em asks me.

"thanks that be awesome." I reply with a smile.

James's POV;

Rehersals with Beth are going alright I just can't wait to go home and see Riley, I didn't ask mum's permission but she's cool with it she absolutely adores Riley almost as much as I do.

I say bye to Beth and make my way home, throwing my dance bag on the living room floor.

"Hey sweetheart." mum calls out.

"Hey mum." I reply with a smile.

I look and see 5 plates set out on the kitchen table, how'd mum know Riley was staying over?

"How'd you know ril-" I got cut off as Riley wrapped her arm's around me.

"Hey, how was rehersals cutie?" Riley asks me.

"Same old, your here early." I say a little surprised.

"She's been helping with dinner." mum says impressed.

"that's my girl." I reply giving her a kiss on the lips.

"My house was a war zone when I went in, so hunter and Emily brought me here." Riley tells me.

I was a bit worried, every time I go to pick Riley up or drop her home it's rarely ever got anyone home except for Emily or Riley. Riley's mum and dad where both never there at the same time, and when they were it was so much fighting, Riley said nothing was going on that she knew of, but deep down I knew it was getting to her.

"well lucky you get to spend the night here." i reply wrapping my arms around her.

She gives me a hug, but quickly pulls away. "you're so sweaty." she tells me.

I had just been dancing so yes I was sweaty, riles haha.

"go for a shower sweetheart, dinner is still 15 minutes away." mum tells me.

"I'll be back soon gorgeous." I reply giving riley a kiss on the lips.

"okay jay." she tells me.

Riley's POV;

James and I where just doing the dishes after dinner, it was nice just spending time with him. I admit his house is so much more peaceful then mine has been lately, James finished drying up the last one of the plates as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close, giving me a kiss on the lips, it was delicate and sweet.

"what was that for?" I say looking up at him.

"your my girl." he says sweetly.

James calls me his girl all the time, and it never gets old it just makes my heart melt.

"should we go to bed?" he asks me.

I hadn't be sleeping well lately due to the drama in my house, so I was quite tired and I guess James could see that. We layed in his bed, with the door shut, just cuddling as James put on High School Musical 3 on.

"Didn't know you liked musicals?" i joked.

"I don't. And I know you don't either, but I know this ones an exception." James tells me.

James knew a lot more about me then I have him credit for. I don't like musicals, but I love any Disney movie especially this one.

"your amazing, you know that?" I say cuddling him tighter.

"your amazing too my princess." he says cuddling me back.

We watched the movie, as James played with my short brown hair running his fingers through it with one arm wrapped around me.

James's POV;

Riley eventually started falling asleep, she was tired even though she wouldn't admit it.

"good night gorgeous." I say giving her a kiss on the temple.

"good night jay." she says giving me a kiss on the cheek.

I stay awake long enough until I know she's sound asleep, and as i watched her sleep I couldn't stop looking at her I know that sounds weird but she looked incredible, and so peaceful. Riley's always been one to take my breathe away, but every time we layed in bed and cuddled together something about her sleeping was just peaceful and sweet. Soon enough I doze off to sleep, nationals duet is tomorrow. Bring. It. On.
