Riley' POV;
As we sit on stage talking about our routine for finals, I kind of feel nervous but we're all just talking and joking around, and west is being as crazy as usual when Em says that elite will have a plane prop, of course they are why doesn't that surprise me?? James tells us we just need to focus on ourselfs and I totally agree, we can't be worrying about what anyone else is doing just us. Such a change in attitude from yesterday as today he's actually being supportive, not being the joker he usually is. I guess our talk after the performance yesterday worked well.
We all said in agreement that Michelle and Eldon should do the duet, Emily's face looks horrified by it as if to say a duet can't top a plane, or maybe there's more too it. But Em reluctantly agrees and I'm proud of her, she's doing what's best for the team. I'm not sure what's going on there but she sure isn't acting the same.
James POV;
As we sit on the stage, talking about everything, I joke with west as he honestly believes Elite is going to have a real plane in there performance? That boy is truly crazy!!!! I then tell everyone we can't be worrying about what anyone else is doing, just ourselfs, which I then see Riley smile that beautiful smile of hers at me from beside me. We were all just joking around today and even Riley was but at the end of it we all decided Michelle and Eldon should do there duet, whilst Emily looked somewhat confused but she agreed. Yesterday Riley and I had a talk, she was stressing out pretty majorly as she hadnt had any sleep, and then with the hair bow incident and she thought it was all her fault etc so yesterday we had to perform for the wild card spot which we did, and we got it, made her freak out and she kept snapping at me. We then spoke as we got off stage, because she pulled me off to the side and we both just agree happily to learn to be more respectful and understanding of eachother, and honestly it's working! I'm glad we had that talk.
Eventually hours pass and we rehearse our performance and it looks amazing, I just hope we win.
I know this scene doesn't directly have jiley In it, or talking for that matter, but the next chapter will :)
