A jiley love story.

Part 17- kisses.

James POV;

I get ready for the night putting on black trousers with a red buttoned Up long sleeve shirt and a black vest, mum was always far to particular about what we wore on these occasions so she always made sure we looked our best. I go downstairs and put my polished black shoes onto my feet.

"what are you doing, James?" mum asks.

"uh nothing?" I reply somewhat confused.

"the hat on your head, no need for it to be on." mum replys looking a tad annoyed

"oh right sorry mum." I say taking the hat off of my head, I didn't even realise it was on, I always am wearing a hat except for when I dance.

"are we leaving now?" the twins ask repeatedly.

"yes we are." mum replies

We all hop in the car, me sitting at the very back of the car as the twins sit in the row in front of me, we make our way or Riley's house. As mum pulls into the drive way, i hop out and take steps up to her front door, I then knock and wait for someone to answer. Alexa answers. Alexa is Riley's bestfriend from her childhood they always spend Christmas eve together but this year I asked Riley to come out with me for a couple hours and she agreed so I wasn't sure what to say. I hadn't met Alexa before but I knew from photos who she was and the story behind there friendship and traditions.

"is Riley ready?" I ask looking up at Alexa.

"she will be ready soon. So your James?" Alexa asks me.

"that would be me." I reply kind of scared of her.

"nice to meet you." she says with a smile.

"uh thanks. You too." I reply smiling back.

Emily walks past and is straightening her hair? She then says

"James you can come in, Riley won't be too long." Emily says loudly probably so Riley can hear from stairs.

"thanks Em, how are you?" I ask Emily as I walk into the living room.

"I'm good thanks, and how are you today James?" Emily replys back nicely.

"I'm good." I reply with a smile.

I'm sitting downstairs and am waiting for Riley, that girl needs to not stress she always looks beautiful.

Riley's POV;

So James is waiting for me down stairs and I cannot find my phone or my bag I make my way downstairs and ask Emily if she's seen in, when James brightly says.

"you looking for this princess??" he says pulling my phone up from the grove in the couch.

"I am yes." I giggle and give him "that" look.

"I think my kisses tally just went up to 6." he says blushing

"did it just." I say sarcastically.

I lean in to give him a kiss when Alexa says "shouldn't you guys be leaving?" I look at James who looks really awkward and I smile at Alexa and say "yes we should be." I put my phone into the black bag Emily let me borrow, and held my hand out so James could take it. He grabs my hand and we say goodbyes to Alexa and Emily and I give them a hug as Emily says to James "someone actually knows how to dress up." James laughs. We then make our way to the car and James opens the door for me to get in, then shutting it behind me as he hops in the other side.

James POV;

We're sitting In the back, riles is sitting next to me. Mum is driving and the twins are watching frozen for the thousandth time in the seats infront of us.

"so Alexa doesn't like me huh?" I ask riles as she looks confused at my words.

"she barely even knows you." riles replys with a smile.

"but still." I reply kind of unsure.

"but nothing James I like you and that's all that matters okay?" Riley replys leaning up to kiss my cheek.

"okay, princess." I move my head just as she's about to kiss me on the cheek and I end up kissing her on the cheek.

"1 down jay" riles reminds me.

"no that didn't even count." I laugh as I give her a look.

"but this does, jay." as Riley leans in to kiss me.

I kiss her back softly, we pull apart from the kiss at the same time.

"I am not too sure about that." I joke with her.

She's laughing, when we hear mum talk to us from the very front of the car.

"I can see you two in the mirror." mum replys to us kissing.

"right sorry. uh sorry mum." I reply back awkwardly

Riley cuddles In to me looking a tad embarrassed, I know Riley's blushing.

"I make you do that huh?" I say to Riley.

"do what?" Riley looks up at me.

"blush riles, you always do it." I say smilling.

Riley looks away, knowing I'm right, so I kiss her gently on the cheek.

"WE'RE HERE!"

Riley's POV;

I hear James mum call out that we're here, as the car comes to a stop I hop out of the car James opening the door for me.

"thanks jay." I say lovingly

" you're welcome princess." James replys softly.

I laugh he's so cute sometimes.

I grab James hand and hold it tightly, standing on my tippy toes to give him a gentle kiss.

We walk in to the big building and take our seats, the twins sure did look beautiful they were wearing red and white long sleeve stripped dress with white tutu kind of like style on the bottom half with black tights and there hair done into two plaits, with little silver shinny marry jane style shoes, they looked gorgeous.
