A jiley love story.

Chapter 42- new years kiss.

James's POV;

Riley has fallen asleep beside me as I check my phone it is 11.30pm so I wake her up so we can walk to the perfect spot, for our new years kiss. I wake her up softly.

"riles, riles." I whisper.

"wake up beautiful, its time to go somewhere." I add.

" riles." I say again.

I give her a soft kiss "wake up gorgeous." I say gently shaking her.

"what's wrong jay?" she says as she sits up rubbing her eyes.

"I want to take you somewhere it's nearly midnight." I say looking at her.

Riley doesn't even need any more convincing she just smiles broadly as she hops up, I grab my phone off charge and she grabs hers and I also grab my jacket.

We walk hand in hand to the other side of the lake we were swimming in earlier, we're standing on a massive rock below us is crashing waters and we're pretty high up, the view is incredible it outlooks the city with massive lights and such, Riley and I each are carrying two laterns, we stand and just cuddle over looking the view.

"it's incredible." Riley says

"sure is, and the most incredible girl to spend new years with." I state firmly.

"I love it jay." Riley says blushing.

"me too beautiful." I state sweetly.

"I'm recording this." Riley says

"what us kissing on new years?" I say laughing

"well yes, I want to remember this moment." she says laughing.

"I'll never forget it." I state.

Riley's POV;

As it hits 11.59pm James and I kiss and we hear noises of fireworks fill the sky but we keep kissing, sweetly and lovingly, with passion untill 12.01pm. I felt fireworks inside my stomach, the feeling of being so close to James was purely perfect, I didn't want to stop, it was our longest kiss and I wish I could rewind and do it all over again, my first ever new years kiss and boy was it worth waiting for, especially with the most perfect human being.

"that was incredible." I state blushing

James pulls me a little closer as we stand in a side hug.

"sure was beautiful I wish we could do it again." he says ever so sweetly

James is making my heart melt, I feel butterflys.

"next year jay." I say

"promise riles." he says putting his pinky out.

"promise jay." I say interlocking my pinking with his as we shake on it.

We give eachother another kiss, short but passionate.

"we should probably head back now gorgeous before mum worries." he states

"I guess we should, I'm tired anyway." I say smiling.

"hang on." he says

We release the lanterns into the sky as we kiss one last time, I quickly take a photo and tuck my phone into my pocket.

"hop on my back riles." James states sweetly.

"I can walk jay its okay." I say sweetly.

"you won't win now jump on." he says laughing.

I jump on as he carry's me back to the cabins giving me a piggy back ride. I couldn't be any more happier.

James's POV;

As we make it back to the cabins and we get ready for bed, I jump in beside Riley who's already. She giggles as she moves closer to me, snuggling into my chest as she sits up on her phone.

"so how was that for new years?" I ask playing with her hair.

"it was perfect jay, thank you." she says blushing.

"first ever person to spend new years with." I confess.

She looks up at me facing me.

"really?" she says looking a little shocked.

"yes really and I wouldn't have it any other way." I say sweetly.

"me neither my prince." she says giving me a kiss on the cheek as she lays down.

"good night beautiful, happy new year." I state sweetly.

"good night James, happy new year baby boy." she says giving me a kiss.

I kiss her forehead one last time as we both shut our eyes and go to sleep. What a perfect way to spend new years with the most perfect girl; I think to myself.
