Chapter 32- boxing day with the grandparents. (6)

James POV;

We pull up into the long driveway as well walk through the pathway throughout the vines to get to the house, the house is quite massive and they have a tone of property, we always see them on boxing day we have for years ever since I can remember, it was so lovely at there house and more than anything peaceful, I lays went there to think as a kid when there was a time we lived with them while dad was getting us a brand new house built as a gift from working at the same company for so many years, I was hand in hand with Riley as she looked around not saying anything till she eventually spoke up.

"it's so beautiful." Riley turns to me in shock.

"sure is." I reply back to her.

"I could live out here forever away from the drama away from everything." she spoke.

"so could I beautiful girl." I say talking softly so she can hear.

"hurry up you two!!" I hear mum call out

Noticing we're trailing behind.

We walk faster as we enter my grandparents house, greeted by a freshly baked smell, as well as knitted goods everywhere, instantly we know we are at my grandparents you just know.

Riley's POV;

Everything about James's grandparents house made me feel happy, it was so beautiful and so peaceful like everything just went away as you walked through those doors. They are both super sweet too.

"oh my you certainly are the girl of James dreams" his grandpa spoke.

I laughed it was funny I knew where James got his "charm" from.

"I knew one day we would bring us a beautiful girl to meet." his grandpa added.

"thank you." I say a little embarrassed but mostly honored.

"you certainly are beautiful." his grandma said.

I look over at James who looks a little embarrassed but it's cute.

"thank you." I say once again smilling.

"your both embarrassing." James says sweetly

"your the one that talks about her on the phone every second day mr." his grandpa says

"I didn't know you spoke about me so often jay?" I give James a smirk.

"well, you do now apparently." he says laughing

"I also hope it's good things jay," I say with cheek.

"of course beautiful." he says as he puts his arm around me.

"young love hey." his mum, grandma and grandpa both say at once.

"it's such a terrible thing." Jassy adds actually laughing she's so different around her grandparents.

"your next sunshine." there grandpa spoke.

"now that's disgusting." James jokes.

We all laugh as we sit and enjoy some snacks when James says to me

"yo! I wanna show you something beautiful."

I look at him confused "okay." I say in reply.
