A jiley love story.

Chapter 50- princess don't cry.

James's POV: 

The car ride was pratically silent, except for the odd conversation between mum and us or the twins wanting Jassy to change the movie as the one before it ended. Riley and i where just sitting in the back seat sharing my earphones like usual listening to riley's playlist on my phone, it was filled with boy bands and Brighter Brightest and taylor swift etc. I guess rileys taste in music isn't too bad anything for my riles though. 

"you're quite lucky yanno that?" i say to her from beside me.

"whys that?' she asks curiously while looking up at me from her phone.

"not many boys would let there girlfriends have there own playlist on there phones." i say jokingly

"is that so? well you secretly love these songs too so dont deny it." she says playfully slapping my arm.

"hmmm." i mumble quietly.

She goes back to texting whoever shes texting when my phone beeps interupting the sound of the music through our earphones, at the top of the screen there contact shows immediately catching rileys attention.. its none other than beth. Riley looked at me then took out the earphone that was placed in her ear. 

B- "Miss you james xxo. love always beth." 

i immediately am speechless like why does she need to text me? is it nescesary? im with riley and im more than happy with her, riley always has been the one for me.

Riley's POV:

James and i are just in the car on our way back, im listening to the playlist well we both are that i have of my favourite songs on James's phone. He let me put them all on his phone incase were out and my phone goes flat or whatever than i can always listen to them, which is really sweet. Everything's going fine until none other than Beth has to text james saying "Miss you james xxo love always beth." i immediately felt my heart skip a beat, and a little bit of sadness grew inside of me. i took out the earphone that was placed in my ear, and turned my head away from James looking outside the window. It all keeps replaying in my head, james and beth talking at regionals and now her texting him telling him she misses him. She needs to stop messing with us. A tear rolled down my cheek and james saw, instantly. He moves closer to me and tilted my head so it was facing him removing my tear.

"princess dont cry." he says whispering so no one else can hear.

"how often does she text you?" i ask feeling a rush of jealousy 

James face looks a little hurt, as if to say "why dont you trust me?" James is loyal and i can trust him, her not so much.

"how often she texts me doesn't matter when i dont reply." he says handing me his phone. 

I take it off him and scroll through beth's contact, "Beth.". Her contact wasnt like mine it didn't have a bunch of emojis on it, or even many replys back. As i scrolled through her contact i noticed she texted him, alot. James barely replied, and when he did he would always tell her he was happy with me. i smiled and turned the playlist back on putting one of james earphones back in my ear, james smiled as he did the same. 

"im sorry jay." i say quietly kissing him on the cheek

"what for?" he asks confusion flooding his face.

"getting jealous, something about beth makes me insecure." i reply awkwardly

"riles your my girl okay?" he says sweetly.

I nodd as we kiss on the lips. 

"we're good then riles?" he says sweetly

"of course jay." i say cuddling into him returning to texting chloe.

The rest of the drive home was quiet and james and i just kept listening to the playlist and i put my head onto his shoulder, resting it. Eventually we make our way to mine, his mum pulls up.

"we're here sweetheart." she says from the very front.

"thanks for an amazing holiday, i appreicate it." i say from the very back.

"we will have to do it again for next new years." she says sweetly.

"count me in." i say with a smile.

I give jassy a hug and say my goodbyes to her and give the twins a kiss on the head as there both fast asleep and i say thanks to james mum once again as James and i walk to my door him stopping to give me kiss. 

"thanks for a good holiday my princess." he says sweetly

"thank you back handsome." i reply shyly

"oh so im handsome now?" he jokes back

i playfully slap him before giving him another kiss goodbye, just as my emily opens the front door.

"i thought i heard you guys." she says interupting 

"you heard correctly." i mumble

"i should be going i will text you a little later on riles." james says sweetly

i give him a hug as he walks off and em and i go inside and i put my bear onto the couch in the living room.

James's POV:

The drive back from rileys house was quick but quiet, when we arrive home i put my suitcases in my room and layed on my bed, and starting texting with eldon.
