Chapter 51- visits

James's POV;

I've only been home for 4hrs or so now and i have unpacked and am just chilling but I've been texting Eldon and he's sick and really bored at the hospital by himself so I text Riley and ask if she wants to come visit him, with West Chloe & I.

"hey riles, you busy? If not you should come with us to the hospital xx"

I texted.

Riley's POV;

I've unpacked and I'm just making lunch with Emily when James's texts me asking me if I want to go visit eldon, of course I smiled.

"hey jay, nope not busy, sure catching the bus are we? xx" I texted back.

James- "yeah only way to get there. I'll meet you at yours though and we will walk to west's house as Chloe is meeting there xx" i read and replied with

"okay see you soon. xx" I smile.

"who you texting?" Em says from across the kitchen table.

"James." I reply back

"didn't you just see him a couple of hours ago?" she replys harshly

"well yeah but we're going to visit your boyfriend." I say back

"uh what.?" Em replys

"eldon we're gonna go visit him in hospital." I say smilling

"oh right." Emily says as she goes back to eating.

"you should come?" I ask nicely

"no thanks." Emily replys back in a awkward tone.

James's POV;

I walk to Riley's door step and knock on the door, I instantly hear someone run to the door and get it, it's Riley she opens it and gives me a massive hug as if to say "I've missed you." when in reality she only saw me a couple of hours ago. I hug her back. Then we laugh.

"come in jay, I just have to get my shoes and bag." Riley calls out as i walk into her house.

"okay beautiful." I say back sitting at the dinning room table, as Riley runs up stairs.

"hey Emily." I say sitting across from her.

"hey James." she says back softly

"how are you?" I ask politely

"doing great, what about you?" she says with a forced smile.

"that's good and I'm good." I say back

She smiles then continues eating, just as Riley runs down the stairs. "I'm ready." she calls out. I hop up from the table and pull my chair in, as Riley grabs my hands and we go to walk out

"you sure you don't want to come Emily?" I say smiling

"you should sis you'll be lonely here." riley says to Em smiling

"I'm fine thanks." Emily replys that same forced smile onto her face.

"okay, see ya." Riley and I say in sync.

We walk to west's house hand in hand as we then hop on the bus me sitting beside west and the girls sitting beside eachother, and we just talk as we make our way to the hospital. As we go through the big hospital doors and reach level 8 we make our way over to the reception.

"hi how can I help you?" the friendly nurse greets us from behind reception.

"hi we're wanting to visit our friend eldon, we're unsure of which room." west speaks up.

The nurse looks at her computer and then says "room 368, enjoy visiting your friend."

"thank you. Have a good day." we all say in sync as we go to eldons room and knock on the door.

Riley's POV;

Being in a hospital is un-usual I haven't been to one since last year when I was visiting Alexis and it was kind of awkward, but seeing eldon is nice.

"hey man." west and James both say as Chloe and I walk to the other side of his bed and take a seat.

"hey." he says quietly

"how are you feeling?" Chloe and I say at the same time.

"alright, could be better." he says smiling "how are you all?" he adds

"good." we say as we nodd in agreement

"you hungry?" james asks him.

"yes, I only get a little bit of food in here." eldons says laughing

"I'll go get you something from the cafe down stairs." I quickly say

" thanks Riley, you sure?" eldon asks

"yeah positive." I say smiling

"I have money in my wallet just grab some out and get yourselfs something." eldon says

"nope it's okay." I say smiling

"i'll come with you." Chloe says smiling

"we'll be back." I say as I go over to James and kiss him on the cheek before leaving with Chloe to go down to the cafe as we walk the halls, we get in the elevator and go to level 6, the rain is drizzling and we go to the cafe and I get 5 drinks and 5 sandwiches and 5 mini cupcakes. Chloe helps me carry it as we make our way up to eldon's room.

"you okay" Chloe says sweetly

"yeah I'm good chlo." I say smiling

"okay babes." she says sweetly

We make our way into Eldons room, and I place 2 sandwiches and A mini cupcake and a bottle of red powerade onto his tray.

"thank you so much." he says nicely

"it's okay eldon." I reply handing James there food.

I sit next to Chloe and take a sip of my grape fanta.

James's POV;

Riley isn't eating, once again, I go over to her and ask if we can talk out in the hall for a second.

"riles can I talk to you outside for a second?" I ask looking at her.

Her and Chloe exchange looks before she speaks up "sure." she says

"we'll be back." I say as Riley and I walk just outside eldons door around the corner

"what's up?" riley says confused.

"why aren't you eating?" I ask nervously

"I ate earlier on with Em, jay." she says smiling

I'll just have to believe her, I think to myself.

"okay beautiful." I nodd back.

I give her a Hug as we go back into the room and start talking to Eldon.
