James's POV;
Riley and it's lips meet, my hands are around her petite waist and her hand's are around my neck, the kiss was perfect and I felt fireworks. Like we were the only two people in the room, without any problems or worries or fears, just love happiness and joy. It was purely perfect, until we got interrupted.
"Yo! You can stop now." hunter calls out.
"3 seconds not 3 minutes." west says laughing.
"I'm getting a drink, I can't watch this anymore." Emily says hoping up, Giselle following her laughing.
We pull apart at the same time, sadly. I notice Riley go beet red.
"That was too much cuteness guys." Thalia joked.
"3 minutes people!" west calls out.
Everyone laughs, even me. Except Riley who quickly gets up, looking as hurt as ever. I watch her get up and a troupe all look in her direction looking shocked, Emily walks in with Elle looking confused.
"What happened?" Emily asks.
"I'll fix it don't worry." I tell Emily confident.
I get up and knock on riley's bedroom door, knowing how sensitive she is I approach the situation gently.
Riley's POV;
I can't believe James and I just made out as if it was nothing in front of everyone, I enjoyed it till I remembered we weren't together. It felt beautiful, like all my worries floated away when James and I are together. It was amazing, but when a troupe laugh and tell us we were kissing for too long made me a little embarrassed, because apart of me didn't even remember they were there. And now I will have to tell James exactly how I'm feeling. Except what happens if after that kiss he doesnt feel the same way? What if he was just kissing me so a troupe didn't think I was silly? Random thoughts ran through my head just as He enters.
"Can I come in?" he asks me.
"Sure," I mumble.
He sits on the end of my bed and I lean against the headboard.
"You okay?" he asks me.
"Fine." I lie.
"Straight up lying to me, I know your not fine. Now tell me what's wrong?" James tells me.
"It's nothing okay, I'm just being stupid." I tell him.
"I will make judgement of that." James says lightly smiling.
He always lightens up the mood, and picks me up when I'm down. I admire that about him, a lot. I truly do. I laugh a little but don't say anything.
"How about if I tell you how I feel about what just happened back there, you tell me how your feeling?" James suggests.
I mean the idea isn't bad, but if he didn't feel the same about the kiss. I guess I'm just Going to have to find out for myself.
"Okay deal." I tell him, we shake on it just like we usually do and he begins to take a deep breathe In.
James's POV;
This is it, everything I've wanted to tell Riley for the longest time. It's finally happening again. There isn't any hiding behind the truth now, I feel as though she trusts me and the past few weeks are exactly what we needed.
"Okay, we'll, I enjoyed the kiss." I tell Riley.
Her face looks shocked.
"Okay." she mumbles.
I laugh at how heartbroken and serious she looks, guess I mean more to her then I realise.
"What's funny?" Riley tells me seriously.
"Riles, the kiss was amazing okay I'd do that again." I tell her more serious.
She playfully slaps me, well deserved I know. I kiss her before she can reply, I don't know how to put into words how I'm feeling. But the kiss will show her exactly how I'm feeling, we both pull away after a minute or two.
"So, you enjoyed it too?" I ask Riley.
"Yes I did." Riley tells me with rosy cheeks and a huge grin.
"Then what's the problem?" I ask her with a signature James smile.
"Nothing's wrong James, that kiss proved everything for me. I trust you okay, with my life." Riley admits, whilst fiddling with her ring on her thumb.
My heart skipped a few beats of happiness. As i pull riley into a tight hug, I couldn't be any more excited, she trusts me again and I trust her with my life. We're stronger then ever, at least I hope....
