tw: underage drinking, slight nsfw (nothing too bad)

The rest of the week went by unbelievably slow for Dream.

By Friday he's even more exhausted than he'd been at the start of the week. This is obvious, though, as the game is today and the team has been working very hard.

Sapnap is ungrounded now, to Dream's pleasure. Now he doesn't have to drive the manchild everywhere, although he still spends every waking moment at school with him that he can.

Dream has also seen more of George, but doesn't pay too much attention to him. He only wants the brunette to have a good opinion of him, like everyone else. Dream isn't expecting to become good friends with him or anything. Besides, this is his senior year and it's not like he can make a decent friendship in such a short amount of time.

"You guys coming to my party later after the game?" Sapnap asks at the lunch room table as everyone is eating in silence. Well, almost everyone. George hasn't eaten a thing, which Dream notices but doesn't point out.

"Sapnap you were literally just grounded for doing this, and you're going to do it again?" Karl complains, likely concerned for his friend.

"I won't get caught this time. My parents are going out for the weekend, they left last night. I already have a lot of it set up, I got excited last night. I also went a little overboard on the alcohol so we can invite as many people over as we want," Sapnap smiles mischievous as Karl frowns. Karl seems to care a lot about Sapnap and his well being, which Sapnap couldn't care less about.

Dream himself has always been a huge party animal. He likes to mess around with girls and drink his problems away. It's not like it'll hurt him anyways.

"I'm in," Dream smiles, Sapnap cheering in his seat.

"Count me in too," Alex grins and smacks Karl in the shoulder.

"Fine fine," Karl puts his hands up in defeat. "I'll come if George does."

George's attention snaps to Karl and his eyes widen. "Me?"

"Yeah you," Karl laughs and smacks his shoulder. Dream notices a look of uncertainty in his eyes but doesn't question it. They're not friends anyway.

"Alright, I guess it'll be fun," George says quietly.

"No! You were supposed to refuse!" Karl complains, throwing his head into his hands.

"Too late, you're both coming. Bad and Skeppy are coming too, you have to," Sapnap says. Bad groans as Skeppy jumps in excitement.

The rest of lunch had the table in conversation about anything and everything. By now George feels more comfortable around everyone, and has gotten extremely close with Alex. The only person he hasn't talked to much is Dream, and they both know it.

Going to his final class, Dream walks by Sapnap and they stop by their lockers first.

"You sure the party is a good idea?" Dream asks while they walk towards the building with their coding class.

"I'm sure, my parents are leaving anyways, this is the least they can do. Provide the venue," Sapnap jokes, but Dream can tell he's genuinely upset even if he doesn't show it. Sapnap has never been one to talk about his feelings, even with his best friend, so Dream doesn't push and just reluctantly nods.

The two make it to their classroom and see Schlatt picking on George again about one thing or another. They don't pay much attention, rather Sapnap shoves him out of the way to take his seat. Dream takes his seat next to George, failing to notice the brunette's shakiness and upset expression.
