Groaning in complaint, Dream feels the effects of the excessive alcohol the next morning. He had passed out in Sapnap's guest bedroom, the same one George had him in much earlier in the night.
Dream pushes himself out of bed with much difficulty, groggily making his way down to Sapnap's kitchen. He passes many empty beer cans and bottles, and a new mess nearly anywhere he looks.
Rubbing his temples, Dream takes a seat at the island in the kitchen, seeing Sapnap standing at the fridge.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty," Sapnap jokes, setting the gallon of milk down on the counter with cereal next to it.
"Ugh, I'm exhausted," Dream complains, grabbing the box of Coco Puffs and pouring cereal into his mouth straight out of the box.
"Woah there, slow down buddy," Sapnap laughs and sets a bowl in front of him. "And yeah, you're gonna be exhausted when you pop off that hard."
"What happened? My head hurts," Dream complains once again as he pours cereal into the bowl in front of him.
"You took shots with me and chugged beer, then disappeared half way through the night and came back more wasted than I've ever seen you. Then you decided to pass out on my bathroom floor and it took three whole people to move you to the guest room," Sapnap laughs as he recounts the events of last night, and Dream groans in annoyance, embarrassed of himself.
Then he remembers George. He remembers staring at George as he kissed Mia, then following him to the room where the two made out. Then there's the challenge he made with himself. Throwing his head back, Dream groans in an annoyed way once again.
"Woah man, no need to cry about it. I was glad to carry you to my guest bedroom," Sapnap laughs once again and takes a seat at the island next to Dream. "Besides, you aren't the only one that passed out here. Karl did too. He drove home earlier though."
Dream offers a light smile, glad he wasn't the only one that passed out here. Not that it's too embarrassing anyway.
"Oh, and George last night was crazy! I didn't think he had it in him," Sapnap says, eyes wide in admiration, or maybe pride? Dream can't tell.
Dream remembers George chugging the remains of an old bottle of vodka on the kitchen counter. He has to admit, it was kind of crazy to see how well George handles his alcohol.
"Oh yeah, how did he get home? I assume Karl was his ride home," Dream asks, silently hoping nothing happened to the boy.
"Not sure," Sapnap shrugs and takes another bite of his cereal. "Karl couldn't get a hold of him. He probably just called an uber or something."
"Yeah, probably," Dream mumbles as he finishes his cereal. He really does hope nothing happened to George and that he is alright. Besides, he can't have his new challenge die on him. Dream chuckles at his own thoughts.
"What are you thinking about? You've gone all silent and smiley," Sapnap glares at his friend and puts everything away, getting ready to start cleaning up.
"Nothing," Dream puts his bowl in the sink and decides to help Sapnap.
"That's not 'nothing' Dream, I know that look. Spill it," Sapnap crosses his arms, clearly wanting answers. Then his eyes travel to Dream's neck, where there are faint marks from Mia. "Does it have to do with those."
"No," Dream tries to cover them, partly out of embarrassment.
"Who gave you those? It's usually the other way around," Sapnap jokes.
"It was Mia," Dream sighs in annoyance remembering last night. He would have to let her down as he always does.
"Mia? Like the chick from the restaurant?" Sapnap laughs again. "Oh god you're down bad. Thought she was annoying?"
