The next day at school is spent with the group trying to bring back their normal high energy and fooling around.
The night before, Dream's parents had been home when the boys returned, leading to an interesting conversation about the situation. Surprisingly, the two of them are okay with George staying for a while, and the brunette even thought they seemed nice. Dream assured him, though, that it's not genuine and just a way to make up for leaving him alone all the time.
Regardless, the two of them are happy Dream's parents aren't mad about it and that they don't have to keep George living with him a secret anymore.
After school, Dream keeps his promise and takes George shopping. The two argue about the spending limit, but Dream wins and says there is none.
"Can we stop in here?" Dream asks, seeing the high end store with his all of his favorite hoodies. George nods and they walk in, looking around.
George remembers about the hoodie Dream had bought him that he left at his house. He feels bad now as he looks at the price tag.
"You want another one?" Dream hovers over George, standing close behind him and practically startling the shorter male.
"Oh, that's alright, it's expensive as hell," George laughs, but Dream only moves him out of the way and grabs a blue hoodie, finding George's size then putting the shirt in his hands.
"Well good thing I have money then," Dream smiles, moving away to grab a hoodie for himself.
George looks at the blue hoodie with a minimalistic smile on it and feels warm inside. He feels delighted to know that Dream would spend all of this money on him. It's not that George is a gold digger and Dream is his sugar daddy, although that would explain their physical attraction towards each other and the shopping trip with 'no spending limit'.
Dream soon leads George into a new store, this one being a more feminine one. George is skeptical but follows the blonde around until they find themselves in the presence of many different skirts.
"Dream," George says quietly in a stern voice. "I don't think it's a good idea anymore."
"George," Dream replicates the tone with a light smile. "I won't let you stop wearing what you love to wear just because of what happened."
"But I don't have the body for them," George laughs slightly, trying to make it seem like he's not upset about it. Dream clearly sees through this facade and interlocks their hands, looking at George.
"George, look at me," Dream says quietly, watching as George reluctantly looks up at the blonde. "Your body is perfect, okay? You don't need to worry about what you look like in anything as long as you feel good in it."
"You're not lying?" George asks, needing confirmation and clarity.
"Of course not, you'll look amazing in them like you always do," Dream smiles and leads George to a rack of different skirts.
"You're annoying," George says in adoration, looking through the skirts while his hand is still interlocked with Dream's.
"Annoyingly handsome and amazing," the blonde says pridefully, laughing at his own joke as George rolls his eyes.
George continues to look through different clothing and picks out the items he wants to try on. The feeling of shopping together feels awfully domestic for the both of them, but they don't mind it when they're together. Although they're not officially in a relationship, it's comfortable to be together like this. They're both willing to take the risk as long as they're together.
