Friday night's events play back in Dream's head for days, until it's finally Monday. He hadn't spoken to George at all over the weekend, his only contact being with Sapnap.
Dream feels mixed emotions about the night at the party. He thought he had been drunk when he kissed George in the private room, but now he thinks that he wasn't drunk at all. This would mean George was right, that Dream wants him. That can't be true. Sure, he enjoyed kissing him, but he enjoys kissing everyone so it's no different. That's what he tells himself at least.
Seeing George at school is difficult for him, but he looks forward to it. What he hadn't been expecting was George to show up in a low v neck t shirt and green skirt, completely showing off the hickey's Dream had marked him with. To Dream it feels as if George is teasing him, and he doesn't like that. He wants to wipe the smirk off of his face and mark all down his neck, listening to the dirty sounds he knows George would submit to making.
Shut up, Dream scolds his inner thoughts. He groans to himself and suddenly George and Karl are in front of him.
"What's up Dream? You okay?" Karl asks, noticing Dream's obvious discomfort. Dream looks at George who is looking up at him pridefully and indifferently.
"Yeah," he mumbles, rubbing his temples to chase his thoughts away.
Dream feels a hand placed on his shoulder and sees Alex next to him, with Sapnap behind him.
"Friday night was crazy!" Alex says loudly as they all stand by the fountain. They're early to school and have about fifteen minutes before the first class, so they spend their time chilling at the fountain.
"I know! I had such a hangover," Sapnap says.
"Dream and George over there left early together," Alex nudges Dream, raising his eyebrows rapidly.
"Oh yeah, that kiss was hot by the way," Sapnap jokes, almost nudging Dream. George's cheeks flush red and Dream smirks at the sight, soon averting his eyes.
"Wait what?" Karl says loudly enough for practically the whole school to hear.
"Yeah, you should've seen it. They were all over each other during spin the bottle. Then they left right after," Sapnap says matter-of-factly, "Together."
"What?!" Karl's eyes widen as he looks between the two culprits. "I miss one party!"
"It's not like that," Dream adds calmly. "I was done playing the game, that's it."
"Oh really," Sapnap sounds skeptical. "Looked to me like you were following George to a private room."
Dream smacks Sapnap's shoulder roughly, both breaking into laughter. George, on the other hand, seems more than embarrassed and desperately wants to leave the conversation. Little did they know what actually happened.
"Come on man, you should've saved some action for me," Alex whines jokingly. Everyone takes note of George's flushed expression and laughs. Soon enough, the bell rings and everyone makes it to their classes.
Sapnap and Dream walk together in silence, one or both of them occasionally breaking into random laughter. It's never a dull moment when they're together.
"You don't like him, do you?" Sapnap says randomly during class.
"What?" Dream says loud enough for just Sapnap to hear. He can't risk the conversation being overheard by anyone.
"George, I mean. Did anything happen between you two?" Sapnap inquires, Dream's eyes widening.
"What? No, of course not," Dream lies, hoping Sapnap can't tell.
