"I want to go!" George complains as he tries to get out of bed, being stopped by Dream's hand on his chest.

"You're not going to school George, you just got out of the hospital. Just stay here for the day, please? I'll get you the notes for all of your classes, okay?" Dream says nicely, begging George not to strain himself with school. Part of him is worried about George leaving again, but he wants to trust the brunette that he won't.

"But I feel so useless just sitting here all day," George whines, crossing his arms.

"Then clean my room or something, I don't care," Dream says, moving away and slipping on a hoodie.

"Hell no," George throws his head back and sinks back into the bed. "This is going to be so boring."

"You can use my computer to play Minecraft if you want," Dream offers, to which George immediately shoots up with a smile.

"You mean it?" He asks, Dream only smiles and nods. George shrugs and has a dumb grin on his face. "Okay I guess I'll stay."

"Good, I'll text you whenever I can, okay?" Dream pauses as George nods. "Help yourself to anything in the kitchen. Please make sure to eat, I know it's difficult but I don't want you to be sick, okay?"

"I'll try," George smiles. Dream doesn't know whether or not this is true, but he'll take his word for it.

"Thank you, I'm leaving now. Text me if anything happens!" Dream smiles as he leaves the room in a hurry, making his way downstairs to leave. He trusts that George will be alright and that he'll be here when Dream gets back.

The trip to school is quick as Dream spends most of it speeding down the barren streets. He immediately makes his way to the fountain where he's met with the familiar sight of Sapnap, Karl, and Alex.

"Dream! You're back!" Karl says, bringing Dream into a hug. Dream didn't think his friend missed him that much.

"Yeah, uh, I was busy yesterday during school," he says stupidly, making eye contact with Sapnap who just gives him a look that says 'is he okay?' to which Dream returns a slight nod to.

"What could you possibly have been busy with?" Karl raises an eyebrow skeptically, crossing his arms.

"None of your business," Dream retorts with a laugh. "Anyway, George and I made up."

"Really? That's awesome! He's been avoiding me recently and I've been wanting to reach out but he wasn't home when I went over," Karl said sadly. Dream knows exactly why he wasn't there, but figures George will tell Karl when he's ready.

Their conversation is cut off early by the bell dismissing everyone to their first class. Sapnap and Dream head to their lockers first, walking close to one another.

"How is he?" Sapnap asks quietly as so that other people can't hear the conversation.

"He's doing better now, I don't think he's going to leave again, I left my computer on for him," Dream laughs and smiles remembering how quickly George's attitude had changed when Dream let him play Minecraft. Sapnap and Dream make it to their first class and sit down, continuing the conversation.

"That's good," Sapnap pulls his books out as they wait for the teacher. "How did you two make up anyway? What did you say to him?"

Dream's cheeks go red thinking of what he had said. "I'd rather not repeat it to you."

"Okay now I have to know!" Sapnap laughs and hits Dream in the shoulder as he puts his head on the desk with wide eyes.

"Well, I may or may not have told him I love him..." Dream trails off and looks up at the ceiling to avoid his friend's harsh eye contact.
