tw// underage drinking, slight nsfw, aggression/violence, mention of death (end of the chapter briefly, nothing too bad)

George and Dream arrive at the party a little while after it had started. By now it's 11:40 p.m., and Alex greets them with a half assed hug. The man is clearly drunk, or high, perhaps both?

The two boys had set ground rules for the night, well, George had at least. George didn't want Dream to be drunk while driving home, so he put a limit on the amount Dream can drink for the night. Dream happily obliged, much to George's surprise. It even seems as if he was lying, but George didn't care too much as long as Dream doesn't crash the car.

The place is filled with unfamiliar faces to George, and he loses Dream almost immediately. Seeing Sapnap at a beer keg, George decides to approach the man.

"Hey man! Enjoying the party?" Sapnap says, grinning as his words hardly form a cohesive sentence.

"Yeah it's, uh, awesome," George says with a lopsided smile. Without Karl he feels lost, but he sees other people alone so he doesn't feel too bad.

"Oh shit, wait here, lemme go get you something," Sapnap puts his finger up, motioning for George to stay. George just nods and watch as Sapnap disappears then comes back moments later with a small bottle of vodka. "Since you liked it so much last time, here you go!"

Sapnap giggles as he places the bottle in George's hand. It's a full small bottle of the vodka George had chugged at the last party. Although the last bottle was almost empty when he had started drinking it, this one is full and tempting him while he looks at it. Seeing the bottle has George remembering the events of the last party in its entirety. George's cheeks turn red, he knows he's a different person when he's drunk.

Taking a large swig of the strong liquid, George winces as he already feels the effects. Now he can't stop himself. He finishes the small bottle in less than ten minutes. It wasn't that large, but he still feels it in his head.

Grabbing more alcohol, George decides to try and talk to people. Parties are a great way to make friends, especially when most are drunk and won't notice any embarrassing mistakes.

George first approaches a man by the name of Ant, and they talk for a while. They discover that both of them are in the same coding class, but neither of them had spoken to one another at school.

As the night progresses, George had drank bottles upon bottles of beer. He's not a light weight, necessarily, but when he starts drinking he can't stop.

George realizes he hasn't seen Dream all night, and wonders if the blonde had kept his promise. George reasons that maybe he's just outside chatting with people.

His suspicions are answered, though, as he sees Dream across the room with a beer can in hand. His gaze is unreadable by George. It seems challenging, longing, wanting even. George curses himself, remembering the events of the last party and knowing he can't do something like that again. Unfortunately for him, the alcohol is clouding all of his judgment.

As George sees Dream start to approach him, he feels a light hand in his own. Turning, he's faced with a shorter female with brown hair and blue eyes. She's looking up at him powerfully, clearly expressing what she wants. Before George can even register who's gaze is meeting his, he is pulled into a sloppy kiss. Eyes widening, George isn't sure what to do. Does he pull away? Does he kiss back?

He chooses the latter, and kisses back, but it feels weird. Why does it feel so weird? It feels almost wrong.

He's usually okay with kissing random girls for a cover up, but now he'd rather pull away and run from this person.
