💙Luke's first person POV💙
Mary rolled her eyes at the boys antics and leaned her head on my shoulder saying, "There so stupid." while I laughed at her tone sounding really high pitched. Amber looks over at the boys and leans her head back on the couch. I can tell she's not having fun but I don't want to bother her incase we are the reason.

I soon feel someone else lay their head on my shoulder and as I look over, I see Andi dozing off. Good thing my arm is on top of the couch so I can wrap my arm around her if I chose but I'm not going to out of respect of her personal space. I value respect. My mother taught to always respect women.
Unless they don't deserve it. I usually respect women even if they don't deserve it but when it comes to people I don't preferably like then that's another story.

As I continue to watch the show I get more and more bored. I'm sure this show is good but I'm just not interested enough right now. I usually love watching shows like these. But since Cooper...it just doesn't feel the same.

I miss him. A lot. He was my best friend. He was disabled and everyone made fun of me and my brothers for hanging out with him but we didn't care. We just wanted him to know he had people who cared about him. Ya know, disabled people aren't different from the "normal" people, they just have physical or mental flaws that interfere with their daily tasks. Other than that they are completely capable of doing normal activities.

But Cooper was different. He wasn't Autistic or slow to me. He was just another best friend of mine. Actually he was my only best friend other than Alex. Alex and Cooper had been friends for years. Before I got into town but once I did they immediately went to talk to me.

As I recall all the memories of my dead best friend I notice my phone light up in my hand. When I look to see who it is the front door bursts open making me jump causing Andi to jolt awake. She scoots closer to me. Proabaly being uncomfortable with dad being so close to her when he stumbles near the couch.

As he continues to stumble into the kitchen, Jake pauses the show and gets up, walking toward the fridge getting a beer and opening it, soon sliding it towards dad. Dad was a bad drinker. He could get really mean and cruel. Given he used to torture us for fun to see if we would bleed out or not.

As soon as Jake goes to leave the kitchen dad puts a hand on his chest making Jake sigh heavily and grow very impatient. I dont blame him for being impatient. When it comes to mom and dad, they would be very frustrating most times.

Dad whispers in Jake's ear and immediately Jake looks at him like he's crazy. Jake makes the mistake of saying, "No. Are you crazy? You've already spent over $150 on just beer. We are not your personal serv-" Jake gets interrupted suddenly when dad pushes him up against the fridge with a arm on his throat.

Jake doesn't try to move but seems even more fed up with dad than he did with mom when we were younger. I can see the daring look on Jake's face when he shifts his calm eyes to me, then Jasper, and Finally Jonah.
He says as calm as possible, "If you're not gonna be a decent father for your children. Then do it for mom. Please." Soon Lewis calms down and let's Jake go but shoves him into the living room almost making him trip over the rug underneath the coffee table.

As we all watch Lewis chug his beer, we all take sharp and quick breaths. Not daring to move. Once his loud footsteps echo down the hall and we hear his door shut. We all release a sigh of relief. We all look at Jake and watch him as he has no expression and doesn't take this eyes off the TV that's paused.

When Mary tried to touch his shoulder to get his attention Jonah softly but quickly grabs it and shakes his head. Jake slowly shifts his eyes towards all of us, knowing we need an explanation of what the drunk had said.
