As we enter the operating room. Jake had found me a wheelchair. The first thing I noticed was Andi and Mary being strapped down to beds. Me and Jake share a worried look before he notices they are awake.
"Hey guys, how you feeling?" Jake asked them, trying to get them to speak, but they didn't, especially Mary. She didn't even look in our direction, she just looked out the window near her bed.
Andi could barley keep her eyes open from getting sedated so much. Poor things. I wish I could give them hugs but I don't think we can touch them.
"I think we need to go, princess. They need some rest." Jake says as I nod and get rolled out into the hall. Where everyone else is standing.
Jonah is still in the same position, just standing with his eyes down and in deep thought. Luke is sitting down while up against the wall. Jasper is next the Luke and has his knees up to his chest.
As I put a hand on Jonah's shoulder, a doctor comes up and stops in front of him, ready to speak. "Hello, I'm Dr. Russel. Mary is stable but she needs to stay a couple weeks so we can monitor her and improve her speech to the way it used to be. For Andi, her brain needs rest and a dose of normal life so just try and keep the power training on the minimum for her and Mary. They need lots of rest and support so you all can visit them for a couple minutes but you can't touch them. One of the nurses will come and get you once visiting hours are over." The doctor shakes Jack's hand and then leaves.
As we walk into the room they are in, Jack is the first one to speak as he walks up to Andi, "Hey, how are you feeling, Andi?" She tries to open her eyes but groans and turns her head.
Suddenly Mary tries to get up but starts freaking out when she's strapped down. She makes a bunch of muffled cries but she calms down when she sees Jonah walking towards her. "Hey, Mary. I told you I wouldn't leave, didn't I?" She gives a small smile towards him before she looks out the window again.
The doctors had put a black Beanie on her head where she had to get it shaved so they could do the surgery. Poor thing. She's gonna be even more insecure. That's okay though, me and Andi can make her feel better by going shopping when they get better.
Mary still looks the same except she has a less hair on the left side. but that's not a hard fix, we can just get a lot of different hats or hoodies she can wear until her hair grows back. Nobody will even notice.
Suddenly my thoughts are interrupted by Jake putting his hand on my back, it makes me smile everytime he does that. "Hey, you okay?" He asks as he rubs his hand up and down on my back. "Yeah, I'm just thinking about when they get out of here." As I finish my daydream, he keeps rubbing my back.
He asks another question while biting his bottom lip. "How's your leg?" They never gave me any medicine for it so it hurts pretty bad but I don't want to tell him that. I need to though, I don't want to keep secrets from everyone. "It hurts. I never got any medicine for it. They just wrapped it and left to go help Mary and Andi. I don't mind it though." I say, still zoning out and proabaly rambling.
I tried to put my hands in my pockets but then I realized I didn't have any, I'm wearing the most ugliest hospital gown I've ever seen but at least it's something. It's cold in here though. As I shiver, Jake takes off his jacket and makes me put in on. "Thanks." I whisper as he gets closer to my ear,"Your welcome, princess." He gives me a smile as I give an annoyed look. "I wish you would stop calling me that. I'm not a princess who needs saving." He gives me a look of seriousness. "I never said you were that type of princess." I look up at him in confusion.
"Then what type of princess am I?" He looks me dead in the eyes and says, "Your the type of princess who doesn't need a knight in shining armor, you slay your own Dragons and you do it well." This man will be the death of me. God, not gonna lie, that smile at the end gave me butterfly's.
