Rei enters the restaurant with Aiden next to her, he called and asked her to come pick him up from the Todoroki's.

She takes a seat across from him and he sighs, "Rei please, I swear I don't want to fight and I don't want you to live with your mom especially not now that you're going back to school.

"I swear I can prove it to you that I've changed, please, it's from the past. To me it's in the past."

Aiden leaves for the kids play area and Rei makes sure he's really going there before turning to Hawks.

"To me its something that just happened today. Right now. I don't know what you want me to say or think but it hurts Keigo.

"I was just naïve and you lied to me. You were going to leave and happily carry on like we never happened.

"You were bored of me and on to your next victim. How do you expect me to feel? We're only married because of the twins. I only mattered because suddenly you had the chance to become a father dangling right in front of you.

"Do you not realise the level of disrespect? How do you expect me to feel right now? How would you feel if you found out you were just another guy on my list of open options and just so happen to be the one I chose because you accidentally knocked me up?

"It's bullshit Keigo."

The waiter looks between the couple not saying a word to each other and clears his throat. Rei orders something small and simple for herself and Aiden.

Hawks shakes his head he's not hungry. As much as he's changed. He was never honest with Rei not the way he should've been.

This isn't a matter of explaining himself he's told her too many lies for the truth to matter. This is a matter of him letting his actions do the talking.

He sighs and takes a seat closer to Rei pecking her cheek with a smile on her face.

"I will prove it to you that I am in love with you and I only want you. No more playing games. Just watch me."

Rei looks away conflicted. Her feelings and reasoning are at war. At a time like this which do you believe?

Your heart aches and the walls are forming, but the mind says one more chance and trust is the answer.

She turns to him and he captures her lips into his. He doesn't care what she's thinking and feeling it's all false.

"Mom, can I get two ice creams today?" Aiden asks taking his seat back from playing.

The fire alarm goes off and Rei mom glares at Aiden who slowly avoids the glare. Turning his head to smile at the random couple on the table next door staring at Hawks and his girlfriend.

"Call your sister to bring the twins. We're all going home after this."

He doesn't even give her the opportunity to debate him. He's already texting on her phone.

Rei puts out her hand. She's open with him enough to allow him access to her phone so she should be allowed the same privilege.

Hawks freely hands it over calling her sister and arguing until Mez agrees to bring the twins.

They are warped by Kurogiri and Rei smiles pecking Keiko's cheeks in his own world looking around at everyone at the table.

Kaito is out like a light in dream land.

"Was he crying? And you wanted me to leave my kids with her? Babe."

Hawks glares at Rei who glares back. She's got plenty to say back but Hawks is already scolding Mez about things in the past.

Kaito wakes up and lazily looks at his father. If he could speak he'd probably tell him off for his loud voice waking him from his precious sleep.

"Sorry buddy, how are you doing?"

Kaito slowly whimpers and cries. Hawks turns around waving Mez off.

Mez warps to Dabi's place surprising him when he's getting out of the shower she's shoving him back in.

He smirks, "Back so soon."

"That damn Hawks pissed me off."

"Ehh, he's just pissed off things aren't going well between him and his girlfriend and you know him well enough to make matters worse.

"You followed him everywhere. I'm sure you could give Rei a whole list of names about girls he cheated with."

"Is that why Rei came home? Well, if he keeps being an asshole I just might ..."

Dabi kisses her and moans into the kiss. He doesn't care about any of that nor does he want to hear about it, but one thing is garanuteed.

Rei and Keigo Takami will not be breaking up ever. His son won't be raised in a broken family.

He's going to keep Mez close to garauntee that. A visit to Rei is also on his list. She trusts him so he knows if he says Hawks is different now she'll believe him.

It will be useless if Hawks is just lying to himself. So they need to talk.

He lifts Mez and looks her in the eyes. He stops and takes a step back.

"I'm sorry but this just feels wrong. I can't feel like this for you and not feel the same about Rei.

"I'm trying to avoid being the guy everyone thinks I am. As much as you're beautiful and I want you. This is the last time between us.

"I have no intentions of getting between Rei and Hawks and neither should you. Your hero friend likes you stick with him.

"I won't sabotage my sons happiness. He comes first and you and I together is not whats best for him."

Mez nods, "Sure, I have options. I just liked the worst one better. Make it worth my time yeah?"

"That I can do for you."
