Two weeks had passed since Daisy's OBGYN appointment. She had another one in a week or two, but right now, her focus was on something else.

The lasts of the upgrades to Zephyr One had been made, and it was now finally retrofitted and ready for space travel for the mission to find Fitz. The selected agents for the mission were finishing their packing as they were loading their belongings onto the Zephyr.

Daisy was a little sad that she was no longer going to be going on the mission, she was really looking forward to seeing the depths of space, but given her circumstance, she knew it was for the best. After making the decision to keep the baby, she never looked back. She knew this was something she wanted, and she didn't regret the decision one bit.

She was with Jemma in her quarters as Jemma finished her packing. The two had been spending the last few days together, wanting to get as much best friend bonding they could get before Jemma left for God knows how long. This included baking, binge-watching movies and TV shows, and playing a couple of harmless pranks on some of the newer agents. There may have also been a moment where both of them were crying over their love lives at two in the morning, in which Daisy claimed she wished she had 'her own Fitz' since she hadn't been as lucky in the boyfriend department, but both Daisy and Jemma would neither confirm nor deny this happening at all; however, May claimed that she got some footage that she would no doubt use as blackmail one day.

"So," Daisy began, "Tomorrow's the big day."

Jemma nodded with a sigh. "Yeah. It's still kind of hard to believe, you know? I mean, Fitz died. We saw his body with our own eyes, but it's still so hard to wrap my head around that there's another him out there, asleep, just waiting to meet us again."

"Right. I try not to think about it too much," Daisy added. "I mean, I do think about Fitz coming back, but I mean the whole prospect of it all. All this time travel shit has made my head hurt."

"I know what you mean," Jemma replied. "I just hope once we get Fitz back, we can put the thought of time travel far behind us. We don't need it ruining our lives any more than it has."

"You can say that again."

It was then Jemma noticed Daisy swaying back and forth a little bit as she seemed to be a little out of it. Jemma took Daisy by the arm and sat her down on the bed. "You alright?"

"Yeah," Daisy said as she put her hand against her head. "I'm just a little light-headed. I've worked a little too much this week, so maybe everything is getting to me. The little one doesn't make it any easier either."

"I bet. Are you sure you're alright though? You know, I can run to the lab real quick and-"

Daisy had to grab Jemma's hand before she could get even two feet away from the bed. "Jemma, I'm fine. I promise. I already talked with Mack, and he's giving me less work next week. I promise I'm taking care of myself."

"I know. I guess I'm just worried about leaving you," Jemma admitted. "I don't know if you know this, but I've been keeping a closer eye on you."

"No, I noticed," Daisy said. "You're not exactly good at hiding it. Don't worry, you're not the only one." Jemma raised her eyebrow, not really knowing what Daisy was talking about. Daisy chuckled before continuing. "Yoyo always brings me food during meals and snacks during the day. She even has a lot of my cravings memorized. Even the really weird ones that I would find disgusting if I wasn't pregnant."

"Well, you dipping pickles in strawberry yogurt is definitely something you can't forget."

Daisy continued, "May is always there to make sure I'm good, and she also seems to be getting to some of my paperwork before I can get to it. Not only that, but she also makes sure I have a break, like, every hour. On top of all of it, Mack seems to be hovering over me a little bit too, and he's just about as subtle as it as you are."
