Numb.

That was all Daisy felt. Yet somehow, it was an excruciating pain. The young woman had seen so much death in her life; she often found herself blaming herself for the deaths she faced despite none of them being her fault in the slightest. This was no different with Enoch's death. Thoughts that she could've still found another way without resulting in Enoch's death plagued her mind. She knew that it wasn't possible. They were less than one kilometer away after all. However, that didn't help the sinking feeling in her stomach.

Enoch's words ran wild in her mind as well. The team was going to separate. Everything Daisy knew and loved over the last five, almost six now, years was suddenly all going to be gone. She didn't want to lose it all. She finally had a family; that was all little Skye ever wanted. This life... it was her anchor.

It was her home.

Her ears were clouded with these thoughts. The outside world almost didn't exist. What was happening? She felt like she was having an out-of-body experience. Her mind was somewhere else for the moment. For a second, it almost felt like her throat was closing up on her, cutting off the airflow into her lungs. Daisy took a breath, and it felt like the air was burning her insides like a fire. What was going on with her?

It didn't take long before she heard voices calling her name. Her vision suddenly cleared up, and she was back on Zephyr One. The voices she heard were coming in clearer as well. Once she was brought back to reality, she saw Coulson kneeling right in front of her. Daisy saw that she had been moved farther away from Enoch's body.

"Daisy," Coulson said, placing his hand on her cheek. She leaned into his touch, feeling more relaxed around him. "Are you with us?" Daisy tried to speak back, but her voice got caught in her throat when her eyes lied on Enoch. The guilt and the fear for the coming future came to her mind. With his hand still on her cheek, Coulson shifted her head so that she was looking at him and not the dead chronicom. "We tried every possible option we could have in the time we were given. Unfortunately, time was against us, and we had no other choice. It was the right choice to keep our team alive."

Daisy nodded but stayed silent. Her breathing was still too shaky for her liking. That's when she felt the hand of another person against her arm. The person's vibrations flowed into her body, and she immediately recognized them with May's. She looked up to the older agent with teary eyes, and May gave her a sad smile in return. "Hey," she started. "Everything is going to be okay."

Once they figured she had calmed down from the panic attack, Coulson and May both assisted Daisy to her feet. She still seemed a little out of it, so May held her tightly. "I'll bring her to her bunk," May told Coulson before leading Daisy out of the LMD lab.

The first person they were met with once leaving the lab was none other than Daniel. "Daisy," he called out. "Are you okay?"

"I'm," she started shakily. "I'm going to be alright."

"Do you need any help?" Daniel asked. "I could take you to your room or back to the healing chamber if you need-"

"May's got me," Daisy told him. As much as she would like to be with Daniel, she also wanted to spend time with May. She wanted to spend whatever time they had left together since this was all going to come to an end apparently. Daisy wasn't expecting Daniel to be mad at all, but his quick understanding still shocked her quite a bit. He nodded with a smile before joining the others.

Daisy gained a bit of her bearings back when May got her back to her bunk on Zephyr One. May sat beside Daisy on the bed, waiting for her to start the conversation. Daisy took a breath, "I'm fine," she said. "I'm okay."

May gave her look. "You know I have empathic abilities now?" She asked. "I can tell that you're not fine, Daisy." May placed her hand over Daisy's. "And it's okay to not feel okay. Especially right now. After everything that has happened within the last couple of days, to you specifically, you have every right to not be okay." May paused before continuing. "I can't imagine what it must've been like: having to relive the same moments over and over again while having the burden to stop it before everyone dies."
