To say that everyone in the Lighthouse was in a state of panic would be an understatement.

Even though Mack had gone on his own free will, Izel had basically just kidnapped the director and one of their top agents. Who knew what she could be doing with those two and what kind of manipulation she was putting them through.

After Mack, the next in command would be May followed by Daisy. The two of them tried their best to keep a calm face for the agency, but it wasn't exactly working out the best.

Daisy was in charge of the control center while May was interrogating Sarge, trying to dig deeper into what they are and what she may do with Mack and Elena. She walked out of Mack's office, ready to give orders to some of the agents. Nadia slept sounding against her mother's chest, despite all the commotion around them. She had surprisingly fallen asleep while being held by Deke, which Daisy was immensely grateful for. Because literally all of the agents were busy, she had no choice but to keep her daughter with her. Not that she minded much. Having Nadia in the baby carrier strapped to her body still made her very happy.

"Monitor our encrypted channel," Daisy told an agent. "Let me know if there's any back chatter."

In this case of events, there happened to be a third in command, and that person happened to be Piper. After Davis's death, Piper threw herself into her work and tracking down Izel. "You're not listening!" Piper demanded. "I said re-task all satellites! This might as well be Google Maps."

Daisy could tell just how tense Piper was. She knew what kind of friendship she and Davis had. Sure, they bugged the crap out of each other, but at the end of the day, the two of them cared about each other very much. Davis even brought up to Daisy that he was thinking about making Piper his son's godmother, but now all that was thrown out the window. Daisy didn't even want to think about breaking the news to his wife and toddler son. It only made Daisy hold Nadia closer, reminding herself that anything could happen at any moment.

Daisy put a comforting hand on Piper. "Are you sure you should be up and about?" she asked with concern. Not only was Piper still on edge after losing her best friend, but she was just shot point-blank in the hand.

"With all your respect, Agent Johnson," Piper began. "If you make me go back to the infirmary, I'll mutiny."

Daisy nodded. "Understood." She truly did understand where Piper was coming from. When she had been shot twice in the stomach at point-blank and basically cheated death, she, too, wanted nothing more than to get out of the medpod they had kept her in.

Piper looked back at Daisy. "The little one doing alright? She seemed pretty cranky and scared back there."

Daisy rubbed her hand along the baby's back. "She was pretty cranky because she was up way past her naptime, and it only became worse when everything went downhill. I know I can't protect her from everything she sees, but there are some things that, even though she won't remember any of it, I wish she didn't have to see."

"Kinda surprised that Deke was the one to get her to fall asleep," Piper said. "I mean, sure she was relaxed when I held her when we first got back to space, but there was no way she was even close to falling asleep on me."

Daisy shrugged her shoulder as she let out a light chuckle. "I guess there are some things Lemon Boy is pretty good at." The two of them shared a laugh before they turned back around to the monitors, seriousness taking over them once again."What do you got?"

Piper sighed. "Z1 went dark right after it left the hangar, Director's authorization. I'm just hoping Mack only used radar stealth. Maybe he didn't reveal its ability to cloak."
