Just as it has always been for the last six years for the team, the happiness and joy didn't last long as the team began to question Fitz and grill him over everything that they have been through. And rightfully so. It was not fair for the team to be thrown into this time travel journey with no idea what they had to do or what was going to happen. The least Fitz and Jemma could have done was provide them with some assistance, but now almost all of them had almost died, Daisy being the closest to death, and Jemma barely had any memories.

How were they going to get out of this?

"I'm just glad to see you all in one piece," Fitz stated.

"One piece?" Daisy asked angrily.

"Aren't you worried?" Deke added.

"Simmons's mind is in shambles," Daisy continued.

"Give her time," Fitz tried to argue. "Hopefully no serious damage has been done."

Daisy couldn't believe this. Is Fitz just not worried about his literal WIFE? "What do you mean 'no damage'?" May questioned.

"The chronicom fleet destroyed SHIELD," Coulson added.

"That won't matter," Fitz said. "We can still get back to our original timeline and save it."

That lifted some of the worry off the team's shoulders knowing that their timeline was still savable. This was more of good news for Daisy knowing that she could still go back home to her daughter. Her heart beat in anticipation as she was beginning to realize just how close she was to being reunited with Nadia once again.

"We can go back?" Mack asked.

"Yes!" Fitz replied. "That's where I just came from. Look, I... I kn-I know that it hasn't been easy. You made sacrifices. Clearly, so did we, but there was no other way." Daisy wanted to truly understand whatever the overall plan was that Jemma and Fitz came up with, but she just couldn't see it. The sacrifices they made were almost of their actual livelihoods. Coulson was destroyed in an explosion, Daisy literally could have been killed, Deke and Mack were left behind for over a year, and now Jemma's mind was all jumbled up.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Mack yelled, which in turn riled everyone up again, feeling like they were just thrown out to the wolves.

"Not easy?" Elena challenged.

"No other way?" Daisy argued. "Are you kidding?"

"Where the hell have you been?" May chastised.

"Listen!" Fitz interrupted. "The only way we can save the original timeline was for you to survive through this one."

"You saw how this would play out?" Coulson questioned.

"I saw countless versions of how it could unfold," Fitz explained. "But we had no choice."

Even Daisy was thinking about it. If you knew how everything was going to play out, why didn't you provide us with the answers and assistance to make it through them? Was me being tortured by Nathaniel an only choice? Was the only timeline for the plan to work was the one where I almost died? "Just threw us into the deep end and hope we don't drown?" Daisy asked. It just frustrated her how they had 'no other choice' when it seemed like there could have been thousands, maybe even millions, of other ways this could have happened. It reminded her too much of when Fitz took the inhibitor out of her neck. He had stated then that he had no other choice. The risks were there as well. Much like the possibility of Daisy being paralyzed if the surgery had gone terribly wrong, more so than it already was, several members of the team could have lost their lives. And for what exactly? Wouldn't they all need to be alive in order to save the world?
