Lena's POV

Liam had been here for a few days now, and I had to work today. He was going to come with me, and introduce himself to the people at my studio.

What was his big news?

He wanted to be back in the music business.

Justin had come up with the brilliant idea to suggest a duet. Liam and Lena Payne. I could write the song, and we could sing it together.

So we had to pitch the idea to my manger.

Justin had an interview today, so Keira had to go to daycare.

That's where we were now.

"You be good, okay? Uncle liam and I will be here to pick you up soon. Mummy promises." I said.

"Okay, Mummy. I love you." She said.

"I love you too baby girl." I said.

"Bye Unca Liam!" She cried, hugging his legs. He laughed and hugged her.

"Bye baby." He said.

After that, a little boy who was always at the daycare came running up to Keira.

"Keira! Let's play!" He cried.

"Okay!" She exclaimed.

The two of them always played together. I smiled.

"Who's he?" Liam asked me.

"Oh my god liam. Calm down." I said.

"What?" He demanded.

"You're just as protective over her as you are over me!"

"Well, her fathers not here!" He said.

I rolled my eyes and dragged him out of the daycare. "Let's go." I said.

Liam's POV

"So how long till we have to pick up Keira?" I asked.

We'd been at the studio for three hours already. I was sick of sitting here.

"Justin's getting her after his interview." Lena said. "Ashton is coming into town with Calum and Leo, and they want to take her to Chuck E Cheese's."

"Oh." I said.

Leo was Ashton and Calum's adopted son. He was about a year and four months younger than Keira.

"Yeah. They'll be in town for about a week. I think luke is coming too. He misses Keira." She said.

"I know the feeling." I told her. She smiled and shook her head at me.

"You and Sophia should just move here." She said.

"Maybe you and Justin should move back to London." I said. Where I can keep an eye on you, I added silently.

"Or nah." She said.

I rolled my eyes at her. I'd expected her to pick the American accent back up when she moved to New York. But she was still as British as ever.

I had to admit, I was glad.

"Okay, I've pitched the idea to my boss." Lena's manager, Mandy, said upon entering the room.

"And?" Lena asked.

"They love the idea. But there's another thing they want." She said.

I braced myself. "What's that?" I asked.
