Lena's POV
"Okay, I have to go sit down now." Theo said. He was holding Keira, who looked adorable all dressed up for the show.
"Okay, I'll see you both as soon as I'm ready to sit down with you." I said.
"I will see you as soon as you get on stage." Theo said, kissing me. I have Keira a kiss and they both left to find their seats.
I was having a good day. I'd managed not to run into any of the boys since Id arrived, and Jeremy was keeping watch outside my dressing room.
As if he heard me thinking about him, Jeremy opened the door. "Lena, they're ready for you." He said.
I smiled at him and followed the producer and Jeremy to the stage. "Ready?" The producer asked. "Ready." I replied.
"Ladies and gentlemen. Lena Payne!" An announcer said.
The music to my latest song, Starlight, was beginning to play, and I stepped in to the stage to the sound of that and thousands of screaming people.
I still loved the feeling.
I began to sing, finding Keira and Theo in the crowd. Both were cheering and dancing.
I was glad Id left London a year ago. It was the best decision I had ever made.
Liam's POV
Words couldn't explain how happy my sister looked while on stage singing her newest song. She was so talented.
Would this work? Would she be able to forgive us?
What was I thinking?! Of course it wouldn't. A simple song wasn't going to get her to forgive us.
But what else could we do? She wouldn't speak to us. We didn't have her phone number. We didn't know where she lived. We couldn't apologize any other way.
Lena finished her performance and went to sit in the crowd. Five Seconds of Summer were playing between her and us, so we prepared while they sang.
It was time.
Now or never.
Lena's POV
"And now, with a very special song they would all like to dedicate to One Direction's baby sister, here is One Direction-back from their big break-joined by Justin Timberlake!" The announcer said.
"What?" Theo asked.
"Unca Liam!" Keira exclaimed.
All I could do was stare as my brother and the boys stepped onto the stage.
I knew the song all to well. I spent most of my teenage years singing it. Before I met Liam.
My brother began to sing.
"Girl I see it in your eyes your disappointed. Cuz I'm the foolish one that you anointed with your heart. I tore it apart. And girl what a mess I've made upon your innocent. And no woman in the world deserves this but here I am. Asking you for one more chance."
Harry. "Can we fall? One more time? Stop the tape? And rewind? Oh, and if you walk away I know I'll fade. Cuz there is no body else. It's gotta be youuuuuuuuu. Only youuuuuu. It's got to be youuuuuuuu. Only youuuuuu."
Liam was back. "Now girl I hear it in your voice and how it trembles. When you speak to me I don't resemble who I was. You've almost had enough. And your actions speak louder than words. And you're about to break from all you've hurt. But don't be scared. I ain't goin nowhere."
Justin. "I'll be here. By your side. No more fears. No more crying. But if you walk away I know I'll fade. Cuz there is nobody else."
Harry. "It's gotta be youuuuuuuuuuu. Only youuuuuu. It's got to be youuuuuu. Only youuuuuuu."
Justin. "Oh girl can we try one more, one more time? One more, one more-can we try one more, one more time? I'll make it better."
Then the others, who had been singing backup the whole time, joined in. "One more, one more time? One more, one more-can we try one more time?"
Justin. "Can we try one more one more time and make it all better?"
Harry. "It's gotta be youuuuuuu. Only youuuuuu. It's got to be youuuuuu. Only youuuuuuuu. It's gotta be youuuuuuuuuu. Only youuuuuuuuu. It's got to be youuuuuu. Only youuuuuuuuu."
The song ended after that, but I didn't get the chance to recover. Because they weren't done yet.
They began to sing Save You Tonight. But I was finished. I jumped to my feet, in tears, and began to run out of the arena. Theo called my name, but I didn't turn around. Keira would be safe with him. And she shouldn't see me this way.
I ran outside and heard someone else calling my name.
"Lena!"
I ran into the street, and screamed as a car honked his horn and nearly killed me.
I turned. "You do this to me!" I screamed. The street was empty now. It was only us out here.
He stopped. "I know." He said.
"Every time I'm near you, something bad happens to me." I said.
"Only when you run from me." He said.
"Maybe you should stop making me run away. What the hell was that Liam? What the fuck did you think it would accomplish?" I demanded.
"I didn't know what else to do, Lena!" My brother yelled. "You wouldn't speak to me!"
"I was ignoring you for a reason!" I yelled.
"Well, you should stop! What I did was wrong, lena. And I'm sorry. But I was only trying to protect you!" he cried.
"Your protection is going to get me killed." I spat.
"Lena, I said I was sorry. I don't know what else you want me to do." He said.
"You can stay the fuck out of life!" I screamed.
I turned and walked away. "Lena, come back. Please. We need to talk about this." Liam said, following me.
"I hate you!" I screamed.
I didn't turn to look. But I could hear it all. There was the sound of a speeding car, a squeal of brakes, and a sickening sound of impact. I whirled, only to find my big brother lying underneath a car.
