Liam's POV

My phone began ringing and Lena's face popped up on my screen. I knew she'd probably have been with keira by now, so I rejected the phone call and went about my business.

But she called once more, and I knew if I didn't answer shed eventually show up here.

"Hello?" I answered tentatively.

"Liam, why did you tell my daughter I ate her?" Lena asked, surprisingly calm.

"Well, she was talking about babies to me. And she asked where babies came from. And I said that they came from their mummies tummy. And then she thought you ate her." I said.

Lena laughed. "Liam, why didn't you just tell her that you didn't know, it was a secret?" She asked.

"Well, I didn't think of that." I said.

"Well, I didn't either until I heard Harry say it to her just now. She was terrified of me when I walked in the door. She won't let me touch her. I'm going to get you for this." She said.

"I'm sorry, Lena. It was an honest mistake." I said.

"It was a stupid mistake."

"I know, you know I'm bad with kids." I said.

"You're not bad with kids, just stupid with them is all." She said.

"Alright, alright. I'm stupid. Can you be nice now?" I said.

"I'll think about it." She said.

"Oh, hey, I was supposed to tell you that we've gotten invited to perform at the-" I began, but Lena cut me off.

"The Billboards, I know. I was invited too." she said.

"Did you agree?" I asked.

"Yes, although Simon is trying to get me and Luke a hosting gig." She said.

"Hosting? That's so cool!" I said.

"Yeah, although I think you and I could do a better job." She said.

"Well, we can worry about it later, it's not a big deal now." I said.

"No, but telling my daughter that I didn't eat her is." Lena said.

"Fair enough. Ill talk to her soon, i promise."

"I hope you know that I'm going to make you give Keira the 'talk' when the time comes."

"Tell me youre joking."

"Not a bit. Talk to you later, big brother."

With that, she hung up."
