If any of you have read my Fall Out Boy fanfic Miss Missing You, you'll know who the surprise character is!

Lena's POV

Alan didn't stay down for long, but it was long enough for my daughter to get away.

I, however, wasn't so lucky.

Alan grabbed me by my hair and dragged me to a van he had parked close by, and he threw me in the back. There, he tied my hands together with some rope and slammed the doors, leaving me in the back while he got into the front.

This van was one of those work vans, the ones that didn't have seats in the back. This was going to be a rough ride for me.

Alan sped off and I silently prayed that Keira had found a way to get to Liam, but I still worried. She was only four! How would she know to ask someone to help her find her uncle!?

But I crossed my fingers anyway.

I could see over the front seat and out the window. Hell, if I wanted I could climb over into the passenger seat.

But Alan certainly wouldn't like that.

He was speeding down the highway now, and I knew I had to do something. I was tired of being manhandled. But what could I do?

My eyes went down to the slack between my wrists. Alan wasn't that smart, and there was a good bit of loose rope there.

I looked back up at Alan, who was staring furiously out the window. I knew what would work. I could choke him with the slack of the rope, and he wouldn't be able to stop me because he couldn't reach me from there.

But if I choked him until he was dead or at least unconscious, the van would crash. I had no seatbelt, no airbags, no nothing to protect me.

But this might be my only chance to get back to my family.

I took a deep breath, said a little prayer, and threw my hands forward. The slack of rope went over Alan's head, landing just beneath his chin.

I leaned back.

Alan's noise of surprise was cut off with his airway. He slammed on the brakes and, with one hand, attempted to pull the rope off. I leaned back with all my weight and strength, refusing to let him slip free.

A few long seconds passed and Alan gave up driving and used both hands to pull, but by now he was weakened by a lack of oxygen. I didn't stop pulling, until Alan finally stopped struggling.

The van was going into oncoming traffic, and there was no time for me to catch the wheel. I dove back behind the seats, gritting my teeth when a loud crash sounded. The van crunched, and rolled three or four times.

When it stopped, it was upside down. I was injured, obviously, but i could move.

I searched for something to free my hands with, and found a knife lying on the ceiling beneath me. I grabbed it and, with difficulty, cut myself loose.

I then climbed to the front of the van and pushed the door open, crawling out onto the ground. The van had rolled downhill, into the woods. There was no one else around.

Hit and run? Really?

It didn't matter. Wasn't my van. I didn't care.

I had to get back to the road and find help. I began to climb the hill, but my legs were in an enormous amount of pain. My whole body was. I was dizzy. The wreck had taken its toll.

I fell three or four times while climbing, but the last time I fell I couldn't get back up. Was it even worth it? Should I just give up and lay here?

I could hear cars passing on the highway. One was playing their radio rather loud.

Don't act like its a bad thing to fall in love, with me.

Justin.

That's why I had to get back to the road. Justin. Keira. Liam. Everyone I loved needed me. And I needed them. I heaved myself back up, and made it to the top of the hill. A car had stopped at the side of the road, examining the broken glass and scattered metal.

A woman stood there, looking. She had red hair, and she was short. She was also very pregnant.

"Help me." I said, leaving the woods. "Please."

She looked up. "Lena?" She asked.

"Yes, I'm famous. I need your help. Please." I said.

"No, Lena. I'm Patrick Stumps fiancé. Tori Eaton. We've been helping your brother look for you." She said.

"My brother?" I asked.

"Yes. Come on, I'll take you home." She said.

I didn't know if I could trust her, but I did it anyway. I got into her car and we drove away.
