Lena's POV

I was still sitting and waiting with harry and the others in the waiting room.

"Miss Payne? Mr. Irwin?" The nurse called.

Ashton and I both stood up. "How is she?" We asked.

"The doctor is waiting to speak to you back here." She said.

We followed her back to where the doctor was. "Hello," he said.

"What's the news?" I asked.

"Your daughter is going to be fine. She does have a broken arm, and it looks like it happened tonight. She's also got some pretty bad ptsd. This was very traumatizing for her. I suggest you get some counseling for her." He said.

"We will." Ashton said.

"I would also suggest taking measures to keeping her out of the house this happened in. It will only make things worse." He said.

"Okay." I said.

"Physically, there's nothing permanent about her injuries. We set her arm and casted it, so just make sure she doesn't use her arm." He said.

"We will." I said.

"Can we see her?" Ashton asked.

"Yes. She's awake in room 207. Try not to overwhelm her with visitors." He said.

I nodded. "Just us for now." I said.

Ashton and I went to her room. She was crying because the nurses were trying to get her to lay down.

"Lay off her." I said, reaching for her.

"We're just trying to relax her." The nurse said.

"She's afraid of you." I said. "I'll relax her."

She put her head on my belly and cried. "Mummy I want out of here." She said.

"We'll leave soon." I said.

I stroked her head and Ashton talked to the nurses about when we could take her home.

"I believe they're working on discharge papers now." One of them said.

"Mummy, can we go back to Daddy's house? The monster doesn't go there." Keira asked.

"Yes baby, I'm taking you there as soon as we leave." I said.

"Do I have to go back to that place tomorrow?" She asked.

"You don't have to go back until that monster is gone." I said.

"Are you going to leave me with Daddy?" She asked.

"Mummy can stay with you if she wants." Ashton told her.

"I can stay with Luke. He's next door." I said. "I don't want to intrude too much."

Ashton and I got along fine. He was married and gay. But he was still my ex boyfriend.

"It's fine either way." Ashton said.

"Is Unca Lukey here?" She asked.

"He is. Everyone is here, darling." Ashton said.

"Am I in trouble?" She asked.

"Of course not!" We both exclaimed.

"Just try and relax, baby. Get some sleep." I said.

Harry and Calum found us and came in. we discussed what to do. Harry and I would go back to Luke's and be close to keira. She would stay with Ashton. The police would keep looking for whoever did this to our daughter.

"I can't believe I let this happen to her." Harry said.

"It's not your fault, Harry." Ashton said. "You're a good father."

It was strange hearing that from ash. He used to hate harry so much.

"Thank you." Harry said. "But I should've known there was a man breaking into my house."

"I should've known the nightmares were more than dreams." I said.

"Blaming yourselves won't help." Calum said. "Let's just focus on keeping her safe now that we do know what happened."

"Cal is right." Ashton said.

"Always is," I said with a grin.

"Miss Payne? Here is your discharge papers. Do you have any questions?" The nurse said.

"No." I said.

She left, i signed them, and we took keira out of that place.
