Justin's POV

"Be careful, Keira." I said as she ran past me. She, Leo, and Blake were playing hide and seek, and Keira was looking for a hiding spot. Like her mother, Keira tended to run without looking where she was going, and that usually caused her to run into things.

It caused Lena, however, to run into trouble.

I was watching the three kids play when Keira stopped and smiled a huge grin.

"Mummy!" She exclaimed.

She took off running, and I turned around. Sure enough, Lena was lifting Keira off the ground and hugging her.

"Hi, baby." She said.

She set Keira down and watched her toddle off to the playground.

"Lena." I said, standing up. I was surprised that she'd come here after what liam told her.

Maybe she was just here to get Keira?

No. She'd take them all. She wouldn't leave Leo and Blake.

"Hey, Justin." Lena said. "I'm sorry I ran out on you. Liam and the others told me everything. I forgive you. And I love you. And if you don't mind, Id like my ring back."

I couldn't believe my ears. After everything, she still wanted to be with me? It didn't really make sense. If Lena had lied to me the way I did to her, I didn't think I could forgive her this easily, if at all.

I didn't deserve the woman in front of me.

"Of course, Lena." I said. "It's yours. Just like me."

She smiled and held out her hand. I decided to be cheesy, and got down on one knee.

"Lena Miranda Payne, will you marry me?" I asked.

She giggled. "Yes, Justin. Of course." She said.

I slid the ring back on her finger and stupid up, kissing her.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." She said.

Call me crazy, but I couldn't sworn I tasted someone else on her lips.

Harrys POV

I felt bad. I should've told Lena. I know I promised liam that I wouldn't, but what if he didn't tell her about me? Would she know to ask? Would liam be honest?

Surely he would.

Surely he knew better than to lie to his sister again.

I decided to find out.

I dialed Liam's number.

"What?" He demanded.

Either he remembered my number, or bothered to save it. If he did, my name was probably the asshole or something like that.

"Did you tell her? Did you tell Lena everything?" I asked.

"Yes, Harry. We told her. Now you've got nothing to hold over our heads, and you can leave me the hell alone." Liam said.

He hung up.

"That's what you think." I said to myself.

Lena would call me. Or better yet, come here. I knew she had feelings for me still, it's why she kissed me the way she did. All she had to do was remember. And now that she knew the truth, she would come here and I could apologize for hurting her. I could make everything better.

Hours passed. I didn't get a call from Lena.

She didn't show up.

I couldn't take it. Didn't she love me anymore? Didn't she at least want to yell at me for hurting her?

Perhaps she was yelling at Justin.

I picked up my phone and called her.

"Hello?" She picked up.

"Lena, it's harry." I said.

"Oh, harry! You were right! Liam finally told me everything!" She cried.

"He did? That's great! I told you so." I said.

"You did. Thank you, harry. For making me sane throughout this whole ordeal." She said. "And for not lying for my brother."

"Well, you know why I did it." I said.

"Yes. Because you're trying to reconcile with my brother and the band. Listen, harry. I may be able to help you with that. But I can't now. Justin and I are about to go out for a late movie. I'll call you in the morning, and we'll talk." Lena said.

With that, she hung up.

My heart ached.

And then I knew.

Liam didn't tell her everything.

So he wanted to play those kind of games?

Fine.

Game time.
