I'm currently working on the next few chapters. They should be up soon. Now with the Genesis Arc done, I want to focus more on my characters (mainly with Nora's Crystal Gems) and their interactions between each other. Gradually I will reveal the backstories that shaped them into who they are now. Some may surprise you. In fact I've given you a few pieces of the puzzle along the way ;)
There will be more flashbacks of Nora's childhood too, and I feel those will be the hardest because I want to portray the subject matter ( how autism presents in young children) as accurate as possible. There will also be more chapters of Nora interacting with humans, which is challenging to her.
Also Turquoise is going to be a more prominent character. I can't wait to show you her story and her relationship with Nora! I'm even thinking of writing a short story about her.
In the meantime, I am open to any story or writing suggestions.(especially when writing about Nora's childhood flashbacks) Feel free to comment them below.
Finally, I want to make a note about the picture above. That's a sketch of Greg from the art book, Steven Universe: End of an Era. The moment I saw that I thought. "Hmm he's much older there, maybe that's what looks like by the timeline of this story. No shame in going gray!" Greg will play a significant role in the next chapter (a 'Beach City' chapter), and introduce his granddaughter to some old friends. Who are they? Stay updated to find out!
