The plot thickens! Tanzanite is a Gem of mystery and her backstory will be gradually told through the course of the story, but she's not the only one who's surprising past will be revealed!
Fun factoid. As I'm writing this I'm listening to Coldplay's Viva la Vida thinking how the song really fits her. She was second only to the Diamonds in power and authority. She commanded armies and conquered many worlds, and was hailed as a warrior hero among Gemkind. Only for all of that to be taken away from her after the event's of Change Your Mind. She had everything and then she had nothing, and to top it all off, someone she loved and cared for betrayed her. She has her reasons for being who she is.
The next chapter will be up soon, where Nora and Skyla decide to take Selene out on a day out in Beach City. Nora meets familiar faces.
