Sorry to keep you waiting on the next chapter. It'll be up soon I promise but some of them take a little longer to finish and I don't wanna rush through. In the meantime keep voting on the Fusion Poll.
After some research I've decided to include some of the antagonists from Attack the Light, Save the Light, and Unleash the Light. Who they'll be you'll find out for yourself.
Here's some fun facts about the main characters.
-Nora shares the same birthday as Walt Disney (She's an innovator too and want's to create a better world using her mind and imagination) which is also a day later than mine.
-Nora had bad eyesight as a little kid, but her eyes healed the same way her mother's were, except this time it was on purpose. After a doctor's visit revealed she would need glasses for the rest of her life Steven shared a cranberry juice box with her.
-Bear doesn't need to eat, but like Amethyst he enjoys it.....a lot... This gets him into trouble sometimes.
-Chalcedony is hired by the Gem City Institute of Archaeology to recover Era 1 Gem artifacts from across the solar system. She loves her job.
-Chalcedony is also a foil to Garnet. Garnet is quiet, stoic, and thinks before she acts. Callie is loud, boisterous, and sometimes lets the thrill of a situation overtake her sense, leading to impulsive choices. Garnet is the result of a romantic love between Gems while Fire Opal and Jade love each other platonically (soul sisters they call themselves)
- What does Selene do when Nora's asleep? The same thing Pearl does, she watches Nora sleep, sometimes with Pearl. She'll also read Gem language books to better understand Earth and watch the stars out on the statue's hand.
- Skyla is the youngest Gem in the series and is still learning different ways to use her 'waterbending' powers. She is also great friends with Nora outside of work, they love hanging out with each other in the park and at the town square in Gardenville.
-There is more to Skyla than meets the eye....
-You may have noticed when Nora interacts with Gems, she's more descriptive of their expressions and understands exactly how they're feeling, but with humans she doesn't describe them fully, if at all, and they just talk. I wrote this intentionally to show how Nora interprets other people with her autism. She can pick up on Gems better than humans because they're easier to read and not subtle.
I hope you like these little factoids. Share in the comments what you think of them. Until next time keep on Readin' Readers!
