Selene has come a long way since hiding in the bathroom and her relationship continues to grow with Nora and the other Gems.
Yet her backstory is still a mystery. We know she's from the Remnant and she escaped Aragonite and Gypsum's pursuit, but not much else is known her, like who her original owner may have been.
But to Nora and the Gems, her past is not what matters, rather who she is now: A fighter who is fiercely loyal and kind friend.
