Narrator's POV:
Blue Diamond clung to Yellow's gem as her life depended on it. So much occurred in an hour of Red invading Home World. Yellow was poofed, millions of gems were shattered, possibly more than Blue realizes."Who was that, my diamond?" Blue Pearl asks curiously, not remembering seeing a gem like that before, especially one so much more powerful.
Blue gazed down at her Pearl, "It was Red Diamond, a former member of the Diamond Authority."
"That was a diamond?!" Yellow Pearl shrinks in fear. "He sent Yellow back to her gem. No gem has ever had that much power to overwhelm my diamond.
"That isn't any ordinary diamond," Blue explains, still clinging to Yellow's gem. "But something changed... He became corrupted, unstable. We thought we rid this galaxy of him, but apparently not."
They both nod, showing an inch of fear towards the diamond that overwhelmed Yellow and White. "So what do we do now?" Yellow Pearl asks.
Blue Diamond put in the cordinates for Earth. "We must get to Steven as soon as possible before Red does."
Steven's POV:
I felt a tremendous weight lift off my shoulders. Connie had forgiven me for how I treated her. Sometimes I hate being Pink Diamond's son; all she ever caused was pain and heartache for every gem and human imaginable. But I was going to be different. No lies, no secrets from anyone, especially my beloved Lapis Lazuli. I must've been in my head too much because Lapis was tapping my shoulder, trying to get my attention."Steven, you there?" She asks in slight concern.
I just chuckle and rub the back of my neck. "Yeah, just thinking is all."
Lapis smirks, leaning close to me. "About?~"
"You, who else?" I smile lovingly towards her, she blushes.
She giggles, "such a smooth talker you are."
"Only for you, " I reply simply.
Lapis smiles, kissing my lips gently. "Good."
The gems all rush out of the temple door with concerned looks. I stand up off the couch. "What's wrong guys?"
"We just picked up a weak signal from a diamond palanquin," Pearl responds, exchanging looks with Garnet and Amethyst.
Lapis sits up, "which diamond?"
"It appears to be Blue," Garnet replies, adjusting her shades.
Suddenly a loud boom was heard from outside, causing the ground to shake violently for a moment. We all make our way to the screen door, rushing outside. True enough it is Blue's palanquin. But it looked tattered, parts fell off. Off to our right, there was Blue unconscious, holding onto both Blue and Yellow Pearl. But something made my blood run cold when I looked to the left and there was Yellow Diamond's gem on the ground.
I take my focus off Yellow's gem and rush over to Blue, making sure she was unharmed, or worse cracked.
"Steven..." Blue whispers in a weak tone as she grabs a hold of my hand.
"Who did this to you? And who hurt my aunt Yellow to a point she poofed?!" I asked, leaning down to her face.
"A diamond who's brought countless destruction through out our world.." Blue explains as she sits up, releasing the Pearls that were in her arms.
"Another diamond?" My puzzled look didn't go unnoticed.
Blue's eyes point daggers towards Pearl and Garnet. "Why didn't you tell him?.."
