Steven's POV:
After all of this denial and lying to myself about how I truly feel; there was the truth right in front of me. I was in love with Lapis Lazuli, maybe I always have been from the very beginning but I was too much of a fool to admit it. Maybe, just maybe Lapis is what I needed most to finally move forward from my demons that haunted me for so long. "Oh my stars... You're all right, all this time," I confess with my cheeks growing more red by the minute."Well duh!" Amethyst playfully punched me in the shoulder with a grin. "About time we peirced that thick skull of yours."
Chuckling at her statement, I rub the back of my head awkwardly. "I'm sorry for being so stubborn to the truth when it was in front of me. But even with this realization how am I supposed to tell her how I feel?"
Garnet takes a moment to search through her thoughts, then adjusts her visor, looking at me. "Just tell, or even show her through your heart of how much you care about her. Love is complicated Steven, it can't be rushed, and every case can't be solved. You must find what is in your heart, how you feel. Just be the boy we've cared for and grown to love all these years," she smiles, ruffling my hair.
I feel a warmth spread to my chest, flowing down the rest of my body. Even if it wasn't the advice I expected; it's something that I understood more than clearly. "Thank you Garnet," I wrap my arms around her, hugging her tightly.
More than a few arms then wrap around me, making me smile even more brightly. "You're welcome Steven, we're here to help you in anyway we can. You just have to open up to us, but we won't push you anymore."
A tear shed down my face as I hugged them all tightly. "Thank you... I love you guys so much."
"We love you too Steven," They all say in unison.
"Now," Garnet pulls me away to look at her. "Go get her Steven."
I grin and nod, giving them one more hug before I leave. Lapis was sitting on the beach, humming as she dipped her feet into the ocean water smiling. She looked beautiful, angelic even sitting there.
"Hey Lapis, I'm back!"
She turns to look at me and widens her eyes. "Woah! Steven how much training did you do on Home World for those two years?"
I grin, flexing in a pose. "More than anyone would like to, but it was worth it."
Lapis giggles at my expression and smiles. "It sure looks like it, all that cute chubbiness you had is moslty gone," she pouted, "what a shame."
"Hey!" My cheeks grow red as a tomato, "very funny Lappy."
She giggles and laughs with a tiny blush enveloping her cheeks. "I thought it was pretty funny, but out of all seriousness good job Steven. Me and all the gems are more than proud of you for how far you've come."
"Heh, anyway ready to go swimmimg?" I ask with a grin.
Lapis stands up, shedding her robe. "Of course!"
I stare in awe at her body, the curves, her silky smooth skin, eyes that I could just drown in, hair I could just smother my face in. She really was beautiful, more than I cared to admit to myself.
"Steven?" She breaks me from my thoughts, waving her hand in front of my face. "You okay? Looked like you zoned out there."
My cheeks were on fire as I chuckled in embarrassment. "Heh, sorry couldn't help but admire your beauty is all."
"Awww!" Lapis grins, blushing a bit. "Such a sweet talker you are."
"Anyway, let's go swimming!" I delcare before rushing forward and diving into the water, making a big splash.
